A "crypto" is an animal whose existence cryptozoologists believe has been suggested but has not been discovered or documented by the scientific community. Ghosts, demons, zombies, and aliens are not cryptos. Reptilians, Wendigo's, skin walkers, mimics, Sasquatch, and dog men are.
