A season highlight is a three part episode where General George Custer recruits Chad to scout for him as he heads toward the Little Big Horn, causing Britt to follow in pursuit.

In The Case of the Howling Dog, Arthur Cartwright, an anxious man, goes to Perry Mason to have his neighbor arrested for his vindictive and noisy dog. He is under the belief that his howling is an indication that somebody has been murdered in the neighborhood. He demands that his will be written bequeathing the estate to the lady living at the neighbor's house. However, the will is mysteriously altered by an unknown person, and Cartwright goes missing, along with the lady.

Set in the lovely seacoast town of Marblehead Massachusetts, Jerry and the Pirates is CRT's homage to the classic TV sitcoms of the 60's and 70's (complete with the ill-timed laugh track). Powder River continues the stories of the citizens of Clearmont, Wyoming in the year 1884. In "The Summer Visit," Jacob returns to town after his second year in college, and seems a changed man, while Britt, Dawes, and Cheyenne are faced with the mystery of "The Phantom Train." "Incident At Dry Wells" finds Britt in a standoff with a killer who has left a trail of death behind him from Georgia to Wyoming, and the beautiful Nadya seems to have some of the men in Clearmont under her spell in "The Gypsy Curse."

Powder River rolls into its 11th season with an epic two-part adventure called "The Man from Isandlwana", in which a British officer arrives in Clearmont haunted by a terrifying past. Marshal MacMasters and Sheriff Dawes seem besieged by swindlers and land grabbers in "When We Trust" and "An Opinion of Judgment".

New England's favorite TV Cowboy, Rex Trailer, guest stars in the two-part season opener, “Return of the Legend.” Britt MacMasters and his father track outlaw Jeb Pickett after the stagecoach hold up - A new band of deadly outlaws appears in the territory as Doc is seriously injured in an explosion - While in Chicago, Britt once again meets famed singer Jenny White - When a young lady is the sole survivor of an Indian attack on a raft traveling on the Powder, Britt, Dawes and Doc try to prevent another uprising by the Sioux....

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Powder River continues the adventures of the citizens of Clearmont, Wyoming, in the year 1884. In "Henry M. Teller Comes to Town", the people of Clearmont all pitch in to help Millie, who has fallen ill on the day a member of the administration arrives from Washington DC, plan a dinner for his entire entourage. Passing through the town of Iron Meadow, Britt encounters the surprise of his life in the episode "The Reflection in the Mirror Is Not Mine".
