Gessie Chapel Series

Gessie Chapel has left a bad relationship and her career as a software engineer in California behind to pursue her love of music. As a budding singer/songwriter, Gessie is now busking in Nashville. When she meets an up-and-coming country star named Cole Trammel, Gessie finds herself drawn to the man and makes it her mission to prove he is innocent in the murder of his friend. Gessie Chapel is making a name for herself as a songwriter in Nashville. Her latest client is an up-and-coming band who hopes one of Gessie's songs will put them on the country charts. But when Gessie arrives at the band's rehearsal studio and finds the lead singer for the group lying in a pool of blood, she becomes entangled in a web of emotional blackmail, jealousy, and greed. It's up to Gessie to find out who killed the band's lead singer because the investigator has decided Gessie is his prime suspect.
