Pike Evans Trucking Adventure

The job: securing highly classified secret and dangerous cargo that is in high demand, even with the unknown. He was going to disappoint half his family again. Thirty-year-old Pike Evans is stuck in a dead-end routine with work, his relationship, and lack of motivation to make a change. His soul needed tweaking fast.

A breakup with his girlfriend, close to getting fired by an impossible boss, and now nearly getting clipped on the highway by a semi and it was only five o'clock in the morning. The way this day was starting, his new direction clearly heading the wrong way.

Worried about the driver Pike follows the tractor-trailer into the breakdown lane. Government plates and no marking on the rig have Pike wondering about the classification of the cargo. He had heard rumors of this type of transport back in his army days. When he reached the driver his intuition confirms a medical emergency and the driver's meds have fallen onto the passenger side floor.

There was a bigger problem. The wheels on the rigs had to keep moving or there was about to be a national emergency on their hands. With his life and morning in a downward spiral, this seemed the opportunity he's been waiting for. When they reach the delivery destination Pike started sweating feeling jumpy and afraid rolling into a wall of snipers at the ready with glowing red dots covering his head and chest.

This was not the change he was hoping for.
