About this listen

Avoid the booty call blues and get the love, and sex, you deserve!

Come on. Admit it. He may not be that into you, but were you ever really that into him? He was never "the one", but you lowered your standards and dated him in the meantime. Why? For any number of reasons: you were lonely, you were horny, you thought dating him was better than being alone, all your friends are getting married, you name it. And before you knew it, you got hung up on the jerk. Go figure.

The world is full of sensational women, but in today's market there are too few good men to go around (or so it appears). Now Dr. Ian Kerner, clinical sexologist and author of the smash hit She Comes First, explores the battlefield of sex, hook ups, go-nowhere relationships, and the dismal dating treadmill, simultaneously arming women with a sharper set of insights and the tools for change. With humor and sincerity, Kerner shows women how to break the cycle of dating defeat and use the power of sex to find love "with a great guy who is into you". So raise your standards, and reach for the love you deserve!

not as good as "He's Not That Into You"

so so

I recomend this audiobook to all women...The author (surprisingly a man) really nails on the ideas, thoughts and questions all women have but dont have the courage to accept, much less to put in practice.
It put some sanity to the madness of dating for finding " Mr. right guy".
Specially for those who are struggling in the "dating world", without getting what they want and deserve.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. I wish I had found it years ago.

I found this book to be a copycat of the widely popular "He's Just Not That Into You" by another author. If that book hadn't been written, this book would probably only have been two chapters long. It does contain some useful advice but it's reference to the other author's book became annoying.

Nothing Original

I listened to this one thinking it would be like "He's Just Not That Into You", which is by completely different authors...it wasn't. I spent the first 30 minutes or more of THIS audio disheartened, listening to what I already believed/knew to be true...men run things, they are the way they are, we are the way we are, and we'll have to learn to play by their rules if we are to survive. Then the audio took a bit of a turn and provided some helpful information and scenarios. However, the narration was really tough to deal with...I kept focusing on the annoying voice instead of what was being said. Overall, I got a few tidbits of information from it. I'll need to listen again at some point, because just like other audios you get more out of them each time you listen.

Has it's moments

This is one of those books that gets you thinking about a vicious cycle you've put yourself in. It was like getting advice from a friend and you're hearing what you know you need to hear but don't want to hear it because you know in the end it's good advice.

Great book

It's excellent to listen to when you're trying to get over someone. It's the kind of advise more women should listen to.

Good advice

This book is witty, charming and extremely funny. As you listen to this book, you will find your head bobbing up and down and there will be a grin on your face because you KNOW what the author is talking about is the truth. It made me come face to face with the reality of things going on in my life and helped me to deal with these thing, because I was just too scared to face it nor to even think about it! If you want closure about things in your life, then this is the book to listen to!

Honesty is the best policy!

Very useful AHA moments, that many women need to hear and remember.

It started out ok. Gave a couple of helpful insights that I could relate to as a person that has been single for over 10 years. But situational narratives about thoughts/feeling from people at various ages and their respective careers reminded me of the first year character narration in season 1 of Sex and the City which became very tiresome. It seemed like the whole back half of the book was like this.

Season 1 Sex and the City type narration

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The book is more storytelling then advice.

Would you ever listen to anything by Ian Kerner again?

I might give him another shot but I did not like this book

How did the narrator detract from the book?

It was missing advice and tips

Not what I was expecting
