Rorke Burningsoul, Paladin of Weltyr, has been betrayed.
With the object of his most recent quest stolen out from under him, Rorke has been left for dead in the treacherous Nightlands: a place hateful to all surface-dwellers, full of things the human - even the elfin - eye has never seen. Gray-faced berich dwarves, frightful half-spider misshapens - and, of course, the sensual and dark-complexioned durrow elves, a race of power-hungry women who live in service to the goddess Roserpine.
Praise Weltyr, Rorke is rescued by two such splendid durrow - and told that, in exchange for his life, he must now submit to slavery as, among other things, breeding stud to the female race. He willingly agrees, hopeful that his obedience will help him find a way out of the Nightlands and back to the business of retrieving the lost artifact: But when the Materna of the durrow city decides during his appraisal that she needs a new guard, he is soon surprised to find himself taken, heart and soul, by the exquisite durrow high priestess known as Valeria.
But Valeria's need of a personal guard is not just some ruse to keep her new slave in her bedroom without controversy - would that it were. The high priestess' life is at stake, and as her assassins' attacks grow more frequent all the time, she needs the assistance of a man capable of keeping himself alive along with her.
Who better than a paladin she's seen in dreams for decades?

definitely a reverse of what I'd typically listen too. as a reverse harem fantasy fanatic this book has opened up a whole new world and look into the fantasy genre. and adding the dynamic of faith and some good old fashioned heroism with a nice story line it ties together nicely
easy read, steamy and full of fantasy

I was flaccid for well...the entire story. No I don't have ED, yes I'm a red blooded man who likes his fair share of eroctic fiction, yes the majority of this story was spicy and for all intents and purpose erotic beyond reasonable.
It just so happens that the fetishes explored are not my cup of tea.
This explores femdom, bdsm, and lightly brushes past cuckholdry at least up to the point I've have listened to.
While these fetishs are not much my preferences, I still feel I can comment on the quality of the writing and narration.
Both were very well done, the narration especially so. Sierra had done a magnificent job breathing life into the characters presented, and while I feel a male narrator for male characters could improve the immersion, her vocal range does an impeccable job regardless.
Writing-wise, the other concepts surrounding the eroticism were really thought provoking for me.
It bring into question what the mind of a willing slave is like, and the adaptability of one put into such a position. The "enemies" where written in a way that humanizes them, presenting realistic motivations and goals. They're all not just some faceless monsters to be slain.
This story also paints a picture of how Stockholm syndrome (others may not see it that way) may develop to me. While I don't agree with main characters decisions or how he reacts to some of the situations he finds himself in, I still find his responses interesting and well within the character he is being developed into.
People and things are consistent. There won't be random 180's on how a character is presented and their action/dialog. No sudden and random changes like a pacifist going on a killing spree, or a innocent virtues women suddenly unable to resist the protagonist dick.
Will I recommend this...yes. If what I wrote of above suites your taste, I would say this is a fantastic read. BUT just know what your getting into. Alot of men can't get past all the machismo and just admit that what this book presents isn't in their wheel house and let it be.
I've seen other reviews. Those that lambast the MC for acting/responding in a manner that conflicts with their ideals on what a big strong man should do. No. Thats stupid. This just presents quality fiction for a reading/listen base with particular preferences.
Damn.... this turned out to be one of my longest reviews. Whatever. I said what I wanted and ment it. If my thoughts change as I finish this, I'll edit it. Deuces! ✌
......welp. TLDR Its good.

Rorke Burningsoul is an unrepentant paladin of Weltyr, and if he needs to smite demons or help people that are maybe not as human as most on the surface would like, he's going to do it.
While on a holy quest he ends up making a vow to be a slave (under duress) and goes to the Durrow (dark elf) city of El'ryh. While he is disrespected, mistreated etc some as a slave, he also finds that the Durrow enjoy a man who's as smooth with his words as he is with a sword.
In short, he is verrry popular with the ladies, both for being a badass and being a well spoken and honorable paladin, and much of the book is erotic in nature. As you might have guessed a lot of this has BDSM tones, given his slavery. Also romance, which is a hair surprising, but very well done.
Just to be clear, Rorke at one point or another experiences every letter in that acronym, although it is mostly Dom/Sub stuff back and forth. It does make sense in the story as he already submits himself body and soul to Weltyr, so not a big stretch.
There is no cucking, hell there are barely any males in the story proportionally speaking. Not sure where the other reviewer got that.
There is some action which is well written, has heavy D&D feel to it.
Also, shoutout to Sierra, was a little unsure at first but she really nails the feel of the story and the durrow voices (esp Valeria) in particular.
Dark and fun

If you can't accept a MC that is willing to be dominated for any reason, this book isn't for you.
If you're still reading, by all means buy this book!
It's a delightfully dark and extremely sexy take on 'drow' society and illustrates the defilement of a 'good' man in loving detail. Highly recommend for anyone who can deal with a less dominant MC! Even if that isn't you cup of tea, check it out... you might surprise yourself.
Instant guilty pleasure for me!
Narration is outstanding.
Such a unique story!

MINOR SPOILERS....
My only real issue was that this assassination could have been foiled so easily in my opinion. The prime conspirators all have acid blood. It would be really easy to uncover assassins with acid blood. But this obvious clue to uncovering the identify of the shapeshifters is overlooked.
It was hard not to enjoy this audiobook even with it's flaws. Aside from the ending I liked it.
Excellent Erotica Lackluster Story
