About this listen

The complete series in a single offering!

“And what exactly was it that you were attempting to summon, Lord Eamon?”

On the day of his Proving, Apprentice Summoner Samuel Eamon chooses a white rabbit as his familiar, summoning a creature from the Outer Spheres and dubbing it “Snowball.” What he gets is a shapely succubus with bunny ears and a poofy cottontail.

Turns out everything he tries to summon ends up a succubus. With his new Summoner’s License, Samuel is sent with a former classmate as his escort to meet Runescribe Elantrica Ilmora—someone who just might be able to discern the truth behind his odd spin on Calling Magic.

There’s one more issue: This former classmate of his, now a nun, was his personal bully at the academy—and she’s irritatingly gorgeous. Now they have to put differences aside to get the job done, facing goblins, monsters, and the perils of the wilderness together. As a relationship develops between the pair, how will Samuel manage his nightly duties to his succubi in tandem with his complex feelings for his childhood bully?

surprisingly well written and even better narration

For this genre, is have to say it's one of the better written stories I've listened to. The narration however more than exceeded my expectations.

Absolutely loved it 🤩!

I really enjoyed these books. I wish they were longer. to give the characters a chance to wrap everything up. just

a for closure. Five stars all around. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Not her best work...

I've listened to several series by this author and while this one was not terrible by any means she's done much better. the overall story was your average fantasy but especially near the end it seemed rush. i suspect she planned it to run longer and the publisher said no. the first two books were decent however where the second left off and how the third ended it seemed more suited to two books than a trilogy. the third book almost seemed pointless aside from catching the bad guy and it wrapped up almost entirely in the last hour.

all this said the sex scenes were as fantastic as she ever writes so no worries there. the variety of characters given his summoning gave a different flavour for almost anyone and it spanned the range from intimate to hard core.

it was worth a listen but if you like it she has many other much better stories to go along with her fantasic sex scenes.

Lack of breath between sentences.

Skipped and abbreviated sex scenes. Ok story. Almost entirely focused around a religion if that's what you're into.

Very meh

Loved both the narrators tho the “ old man voice” needs work…. Less wheezy please.

Main characters and summons are interesting and fun. But could have used a lot more time and interactions with the summons outside of just needing them for most sex scenes and occasional short durations in fights. Each summon has a quirky personality which could have been fun for the weird or silly situations. But nope not used as much as they could have been.

Story however is unremarkable I can honestly say after listening to the whole set I don’t remember 80-90% of it even after just finishing it. Everything outside the main characters and summons interactions left the impression of background noise. It’s not engaging enough. Most of the time the summons are barely mentioned while MC’s bicker back and forth

Train wreck in audio book form.

Only decent thing was the voice acting. Character were not interesting or compelling. Story was disjointed and made little sense.
Very disappointing.
