This is a quick paced an exciting series! There are a lot of characters to keep straight in the book so I would suggest once you start the series stick with it, and move right onto the next book.

I loved how the story picked up where book 1 left off, but Sasha & Rin was both absolutely annoying. I hate when an author stick the not so good book in the middle of a great series. Oh well on to book 3.

Totally different type of love story. I enjoyed listening to this book. The characters were great. Narrators were wonderful. Was a different take on a mob family. But I really enjoyed the book. Not for everyone but I do recommend it if you’re up for not every day things

This mafia romance is definitely unique. It actually has a romantic comedy feel with dark elements. In addition, each book continues all the characters’ story, not just the focused couple. It’s also unique in that it’s written from over five POV. I don’t believe I’ve ever experienced another book like it.

It still has some vivid violent scenes and a few descriptive sex scenes but, nothing like other mafia romances I’ve read or listened to. There are some flashbacks that help the listener/reader understand the characters’ personalities better, also.
With all that being said, if excessive foul language bothers you, pick something else to listen to.

I also like that the female characters are not weak and allow the male characters to run all over them. Even though they are strong characters all of them also have a softer, more vulnerable side. This is true of the male characters, also.

The ultimate theme, of this storyline, is a dismantling of all the different mafia families into to one cohesive unit; including moving away from unlawful enterprises. I’m curious how that will work out, therefore, I’m moving on to book three which centers around a MFM, relationship, I think!

The continuation of this series just gets better and better. One thing you can count on in this series is the explosive chemistry between the couples. I love all the different point of views we get in this book to see motives and thoughts of everyone since there is so much going on. So much happens and you see how all the kids start to fit into the roles they will take in Bratva and Italian mafia.

This book really shows the whole history of Sasha and Ren and how their relationship progresses after the cat is out of the bag. Sasha pushes people away so much and it really grated on my nerves. Having all the other point of views helped me enjoy the book because Sasha thinking she needs to do everything by herself and not trusting anyone to help her or confide in drove me a little crazy.

But overall this was a great addition to the story to see more of what was happening in their world. There were so many developments, the growing of relationships, new discoveries and more that was addictive.

The narration of this audiobook is spot on.
The cast did such a great job of bringing this book to life that I didn’t want it to end.

felt like it was a rushed read through... but on to the next bin in the series... I am listening while studying... ai usually listen to music but I miss reading so I figured the audio books would suffice until I am done with school...
