Publisher's summary

Jon Erskine had made a good life for himself as one of the top forensic accounts and systems analysts in the country. He doesn't mind working with paranormal clients - after all, he's a shifter himself. However, he could do without all the slurs and derogatory comments. Not all shifters are wolves, bears, or other predators. Still, his expertise and reputation is solid, and Jon is more than capable of holding his own. That is, until Dirk Hollingsworth runs from his office.

Dirk is running out of time. He has to find out who's been stealing from his company before his father turns up for his wedding in three weeks time. Acting on the recommendation of a friend, Dirk turns to Jon, or at least thinks about it. That is, until he catches the man's scent in the doorway of his office and does a runner. Not the proudest moment for one of the proudest of all shifters, but Dirk has a responsibility to his clan and catching the tantalizing scent of a dog isn't going to change anything. Or so he thinks.

Good book

I like this book and will listen to it again . I like the narration a lot it would be great if he narrated all your books. The narrator for the next book in the series was not that great. Thanks for entertaining readers.

pleasantly surprised

Didn't beat me over the head with a point and had a story line. I was pleasantly surprised. I have been having a difficult time finding books on audible escape. This one was a nice change with a good story and no one whined too much.

Wonderful Dragon shifter romance

I was completely drawn into this story from the start. I've always loved dragon shifter stories, and I enjoyed immensely this pairing of a German Shepherd shifter and a Dragon shifter. Interesting story, yes there was the old trope of can't mate a man because I need an heir, but it was dealt with accordingly. I also loved that the Dragon an its human form had a separate relationship. Jon is a kind, smart, generous, understanding, and loving person and I ache with him when Dirk was being stubborn. Dirk took sometime to warm up to, his Dragon was a huge part of that process. The family drama was entertaining though I knew from early who the culprit was. Now for the narration, Sean Crisden you outdid yourself with this one. What a phenomenal performance, I especially enjoyed your Dragon voices. Thank you for such an amazing listen!

I really love listening to this story. It is very interesting and informative about Dragon love and how the Dragon are more in control of human side. Can't wait to read or listen to the next book . The narrator was great and did a great job too.😀😀💜💜😘

Fun story-fabulous reader!

I always enjoy Lisa Oliver and I own all of her novels. I really hope more of her books are produced for audio as well as i enjoy rereading her books and own the few she has for audible. I must say that this narrator is wonderful! Great dragon voice, subtle yet effective characterizations, and yet never over the top. More please.

👍👍Wished The Story Was Longer!

I really enjoyed this story, and recommend it. The only reason I gave the story 4☆s was because I wished it was longer. Also, I loved the narration, he did an awesome job as usual bring characters to life. I really hope L.O. is, or will continue this series. I look forward to listening to book 2 and also the complete series!🙂

Amazing story!

So glad I came across this book. I found it when searching for the narrator, Sean Crisden. I love listening to him 😊 The story was very engaging and I listened straight through! Can’t wait to hear the next book, hopefully soon. I was impressed with how the story flowed and kept me so interested as to what would happen next. No lulls or undue angst. Great work!

I LOVE this story, narrator’s dragon is amazing

This is such a feel-good story. The author has written so many sweet moments—her word pictures are really fun. I always tear up at the end.

And that narrator does the dragon so wonderfully!
