Publisher's summary

Simon the Loyal has vowed never to love, for love makes a warrior weak. His arranged marriage to a beautiful Norman heiress would be duty and no more. But more than duty stirs his blood when he first sees Ariane.

She has known only coldness from men - and a betrayal so deep it all but killed her soul. Wanting no man, trusting no man, speaking only through the sad songs she draws from her harp, Ariane comes to Simon an unwilling bride.

They wed to bring peace to the Disputed Lands, but marriage alone is not enough. Simon must teach Ariane passion, she must teach him trust. And both must surrender to the sweet violence of love's enchantment. . .or die.

The Return!

This last in the Medieval trilogy more closely resembles the style of the first book, Untamed, than the second book. Which is good. If you liked the first book, you'll likely be satisfied with this book. Plus, Simon is one of the main characters, instead of some two-bit secondary character from the first book who we committed ourselves to hate, only to find that we're supposed to like him enough to care what happens to him for an entire book (I speak, of course, of Duncan in Forbidden, the second book.)

Also, that instant, love-at-first-sight, super-duper, uber-sappiness that displays itself in the second book in the form of ridiculous love-talk is mostly absent here; when it does appear, it's appropriately placed.

A note of caution, however: the ending is rather abrupt. Happy, but abrupt. And as this last book in the trilogy was written in, uh, 1994(?), it doesn't look as though there will be any more books in the series. No cliff-hanger endings or anything, but it seems like the epilogue raises more questions than it answers.

For fans of Untamed, enjoy!

Enchanting!

Delightful love story, colorful characters, terrific narration. And I adored Ariane’s magical dress. This book is a pleasurable, easy read, and I’ll revisit the castle again .

End of a wonderful trilogy

This is the conclusion of the story that began with Dominic & Me, then Duncan & Amber, & finishes here with Simon & Ariane. If you like medieval romances, paranormal stuff & sensual liaisons(really hot, well written love scenes), you'll like this trilogy. If you've read every book you can get your hands on by this author (as I have) you'll discover there is a direct connection from these people to characters in some of her modern/contemporary books like Moving Target.
I love all of her books!
When are we going to learn of Eric's story???? Please....

Enchanted Trilogy

When I was just reading the text version of these books, this 3rd one was my least favorite, but after listening to the audio version, I have changed my mind. Enchanted actually has more real conflict in it than the previous 2 & I found the resolution satisfying after all. 👍👍

Great End to a Nice Trilogy..immediately hooked

Thank goodness Anne Flosnik is back!
This book focuses on Simon and his bride Ariane but all the characters you have come to love are fairly prevalent in this book....that I loved.

I was immediately hooked and didn't want to put this book down. Not quite as good as Untamed (book 1) and WAY BETTER than Forbidden (book 2)

It is romantic and sweet...AND FRUSTRATING!!! But still a great romance that won't disappoint, but I would have liked to see a bit more after the big "finale"... a better epilogue.

FULLFILLED

This is a good conclusion to the trilogy. You really want these two to succeed. The writer has built characters that you want to follow through to the end of the book. I would totally recommend this book

Great reads

Please, we need Eric's story for this series to be complete. Each book brings something special. Eric needs his story told as well.
