Publisher's summary

Maddox - The reason I rarely go home is three simple words: I'm a liar.

When the pressure to marry my childhood sweetheart became too much, I told her I was gay and then fled to New York like my ass was on fire.

Now, five years later and after a drunken encounter, I find myself invited to her wedding. And I have to bring my boyfriend-the boyfriend who doesn't exist because I'm straight.

At least, I think I am. Meeting the guy I'm bribing to be my boyfriend for the weekend makes me question everything about myself.

Damon - When my sister asks me to pretend to be some straight guy's boyfriend, my automatic response is to say no. It's because of guys like him people don't believe me when I tell them I'm gay.

But Maddox has something I need.

After an injury that cost me my baseball career, I'm trying to leave my playing days behind and focus on being the best sports agent I can be. Forty-eight hours with my sister's best friend in exchange for a meeting with a possible client. I can do this.

I just wish he wasn't so hot. Or that he didn't kiss like he means it.

Wait... why is the straight guy kissing me?

Contains mature themes.

Great story that is funny and to the heart.

I enjoyed this story very much. The main characters Damon and Maddox were real & believable men. Their story touches gay and straight people alike. Ms. Finley has a great sense of humor. I found myself laughing out loud throughout the entire story. All the characters were originals. Stacey, Damon's sister stole my attention several times. I found myself wondering what she was going to do next. So worth the credit. Enjoy!!!

Loved!

Loved this book! I listened to the audio and absolutely loved the narration, the narrators were amazing as was the story. Maddox and Damon were fun in their fake but not so fake relationship. I loved the character building and the world Eden Finley created. I cannot wait to listen or read the rest of the books in the series.

Good story, would like pt2

Hot boys hot story. I just can't get Farrow off my mind with that voice. Can't we have another series that follows the same couple we fell in love with?

The sister was just extra

The sister is annoying as hell. The dinner with the whole family then outing them like like that. Come on now. Real life if someone does that everybody fighting.
That was just too much. Awkward and uncomfortable for everybody.
My only complaint, other than that it’s a cool story.

Great banter

Maddox and Damon got to deal with queer identity issues in a way that seemed real. The banter was great but the book also made time for some heart felt issues that didn't feel superficial.
