Beauregard Boudreaux is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. Born and raised there, he never thought he would ever stray far from home. The untimely death of his first love left Beau lost, adrift, looking for a place as far away from the pain as possible. Initially, he came to New York to visit a friend, the city growing on him, so he decided to stay. His law degree comes in handy at the LGBT Center he runs, but his bar is his baby.
William Richards grew up in Chicago, his family oddly normal and very accepting of his sexuality. Modeling paid the bills, gigs across the country as a model, male entertainer and a personal trainer giving him the opportunity to see the world. He hasn't experienced loss or pain as Beau has, the common denominator between them is the loneliness. As All Cocks big, brooding bottom Connor, William has found friendship, family, and an outlet for his craving to be more submissive than men of his size and stature usually are.
The two men are perfect for each other, their tastes and lives align and the writing seems to be on the wall. But Beau has a secret he shares with a choice few, a secret that not only threatens to keep them apart, it's deadly. Determined to keep a wall between himself and William, Beau fights the attraction, pushes William away every time he steps closer. Can one man's determination and strength be enough to tear down a wall that holds back decades of pain and darkness? And if he can, will either of them survive the flood?
Disclaimer: This book is the fictional story of a man living with HIV. I have put a lot of time and effort into presenting this story as true to fact as possible, without going into gory or gruesome detail. If this subject is a trigger for you, you may want to skip this book. But my hope is that you give Beau a chance to capture your heart as he has mine, and William's.

William is a big man that men think he always wants to so he never gets fulfilled in relationships. He took a liking to Beau at first sight and is bound to get what he wants. But can he handle Beau's secret?
This is a beautiful story with lots of angst. It is also a story of men making new friends as Beau meets Micah and Gabe and the others at the studio. It's a story of community and family because these guys stick together better than most families. There is a lot of love and a few sad places as well.
This is one of my favorite in this series as it really tugs at the heartstrings.
I read the book which is awesome but I recommend the Audio.
Joel Leslie brings such great voices to the characters, the tempo is perfect inflictions perfect he just makes a good thing so much better.
A lovely angsty romance

Sorry. may contain spoilers..
Dealing with HIV is crazy for anyone that may contract the virus. However, the stigma attached to it makes it doubly hard for those who have it.
The author showed us this struggle with Beau and William's story.
It was a great read
Great addition

This story has some difficult themes, and it manages to deal with them in respectful realistic manner without making the story heavy and angsty. I loved that about this book, there are not many stories that deal with HIV positive characters (I have only found one or two books, in the M/M genre) and I find it is important and wonderful that the author managed to incorporate it into a romantic erotica. The relationship between Beau and Will is sexy, steaming and funny, they deal with their problems and don't let things stew for too long after they get together. It had some second chance and friends-to lovers vibe, the sub genres I love the most in romance. I felt like Beau's youth center was a bit of a prop, after the beginning of the book made it appear as a much more central part of the book but it did not bother me too much. I felt like I was missing a lot of the info about the other characters, somethings I would have known had I read the other books first. BUT It was just enough for
me to be very curious about them without it being frustrating or interfere with the story.
I loved this book and am planning on getting the other books in the series.
An easy fun sexy read

I couldn't wait for Beau and William's story after reading book 4. They had chemistry that burned the pages, and I knew there was a reason for Beau's reluctance to give into the attraction. And just like every other book in the series, there's a heartbreaking story to go with Beau. But Beau is a strong, loving, caring man and he finally accepts what’s between he and William.
William is a man who knows what he wants. From the first moment he sees Beau, he wants him. And he’s no holds barred, all in. William gets a little more than he expected when Beau finally shares while he held back but William already loves Beau and like with everything else, William just accepts it and educates himself.
And like every story in the series we have all the supporting characters and their stories being woven with Beau and William’s story. Sometimes it’s almost overwhelming the number of characters in this series and how they continue to grow. I need to have a cheat sheet available when I’m reading, of each of the characters and their relationship just to give my memory a nudge.
The narrator of this story is Joel Leslie and he does a remarkable job with this. He does a good job of trying to give individual voices to each of the characters, but let’s be honest, that has to be a difficult feat. The narrator has a easy to listen to voice, keeps a good pace, brings the characters and their emotions to life. It took me a while to get used to the voice used for Beau, but I imagine it was the exact voice the author wanted for the character.
As with all the books in this series, serious topics are involved and handled appropriately. And I love that the series has become more about what happens in the characters lives outside of filming. This is a series that you really should check out!

I was disappointed we never got Gabe and Gio's story and upset w/ how it ended. But to have the only other black love interest in the series not only killed off before we meet him, but a drug addict as well, really doesn't sit well w/ me. I like that TM Smith's guys are comfortable w/ interracial relationships, but why aren't they allowed to work out?
Why couldn't Beau the restaurateur and LGBTQIA youth center owner be of Haitian Creole descent and Izzy the addict and AIDS fatality be white Cajun? Give him nice long braids/dreads and goatee instead of long hair and beard... I think William/Connor would have loved him either way. 2 stars for (hopefully) unintentional profiling, 6 stars for rest of story: 4 stars for story
Glitch2: Joel Leslie has an amazing repertoire of character voices in great American/British/Australian accents! Sadly his Cajun/Haitian/NOLA accents are awkward at best. Ok for a minor character but for a main character, it kept pulling me out of the story. Part of it may have been how TM Smith wrote dialect, but either way it pulled the performance down to 3 starts for me.
Without these glitches its 4 or 5 stars all the way, so worth a credit!
troubling little glitches in a GREAT STORY

A really good offering in this series, TM Smith keeps the "family" together, even those who have left the company over the course of the previous 4 books. This one added a new dimension that many in the gay community must face: the possibility of falling in love with someone who is HIV+, how people react to that news, dealing with the issues of safe sex and PREP, and from the positive person's perspective, dealing with falling in love with someone, being safe, the possibility of infection, illness and dying. These are major issues and how the positive person and the negative person handle things was explored through these two men.
And of course, Joel Leslie was there with all those characters. Every single one had a different accent, speech pattern, etc. And a new one for Joel, at least that I have listened to, was Cajun for Beau, a native of Louisiana. Joel is just amazing!

The story threw me for a loop! I was not expecting a story around a serious health issue, but it was handled so very well.
The narration is flawless! Joel Leslie embodies the characters and in so doing, he makes the audio experience more like a work of art. How he gets the accents down is nothing short of amazing! And the emotion and joy he feels for the characters can be heard in all his narrations, this included.
I am happy he is narrating this series because I love the stories. Another excellent addition to my audio library :)
The audio series keeps getting better!

The author has done an exceptional job on how she handled the steamy scenes in this case.
I like the idea of a perfect MC who has everything going for him chasing after a man who has lost so much in his life and feels he has nothing left worth giving.
Beau and William gave me all the feels, and if I could rate this 5+ stars I would!
As usual Joel Leslie's narration was flawless and absolutely brilliant!
An emotional, angsty and soundful romance!
