This book series is so hot! I have already read the books and I am now listening to the series on audio. Scott Rider and Sarah Puckett do an awesome job bringing Sully and Eleanor’s characters to life.

I’m writing this review after I’ve listened to the first 3 books and just started the 4th book. It will be minimal as far as the story line to avoid spoilers. But everything you need is in the synopsis. First things first: this is not a standalone book. It has a cliffhanger. As does every book in this series. Do not start this book unless you are prepared to read/listen to the whole series. Also, this series will literally kill you. Seriously. I’ve got my coffin picked out. You’ll die a very sweet and euphoric death though.

Sully Sinclair and Eleanor “Jinx” Grace are everything! Once a Myth is everything. Goddess Isles is everything. Euphoria is everything. Pepper Winters is everything! I love you so hard, Pepper Winters. I didn’t know I needed this series in my life. I just saw this available to review on Audiobook Obsession and thought, ‘oh this sounds dark and exciting’. I was not prepared for this amazing journey. I have been devouring this series.

Readers, get ready for a ride that is dark, intense, twisted, exhilarating, exciting, kinky, sexy, dirty, addicting, full of internal turmoil, and scary in the most scintillating way. A ride that pushes your limits and makes you crave everything that Goddess Isles has to offer. Pepper Winters is truly talented! I was sucked in from the first paragraph. She is detailed and describes everything with such perfection, it makes it easy to picture everything.

The narration is done in true Duet style. The flow was nothing short of amazing. Sarah Puckett embodies Eleanor and her tenacity, stubbornness, and spunky attitude. Sully is one of the darkest and most alpha characters I’ve met. Scott Rider couldn’t be more perfect in portraying him. Scott perfectly delivers Sully’s dark, twisted, and complex character. Sarah and Scott ARE Sully and Jinx. Sarah expertly delivers Eleanor’s anger, lust, desire, and emotional turmoil. Scott expertly delivers Sully’s raw emotions that are full of lust, anger, desire, jealousy, internal turmoil, and hardcore alpha male persona. When I’m done with this series, I will definitely be searching for more books by these 2 narrators!

I received this audiobook free, as an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer, for an honest review. This was a amazing book. Pepper Winters deliered AGAIN, as always. This is a dark story, not for the "faint of heart". All I can say is I want some of his elixir. Sex trafficing is scary, but if I was stolen, I would want Sullivan Sinclair to buy me. I know I have to wait for the next in the series, but it is going to be hard. The narrators were/are fabulous. Sexy Scott Rider does things to me and Sarah Puckett is here usual awesome self. I was listening to it last night to help me go to sleep, and there was no way I was going to fall asleep. My heart almost beat out of my chest.

Oof. This is dark and twisty and triggering in all of the most fantastic ways. If you are willing to explore your darkest desires and look into the underbelly of sex trafficking, drugging, and abuse, this is a compelling and fascinating place to start.

So I listened to the audible version, and the duet narration was great!

This story is super dark (I mean it deals with sex-trafficking...), but where it lost a star was that the ending was rushed and felt like a non-ending. In other words lots of buildup and then nada.

Major book hangover
I need to know what happens!!! This was my favorite book by Pepper Winters and I loved the duet narration so much, I will only be listening to this series from here on going forward. I was entranced in a stage to where I would just sit back and forget what I was doing because I only wanted to immerse myself in this world. I want to be a goddess and have Sully at my beck and call! love love loved this. More than 5 stars if I could.
