In a world where fertile woman are bought and sold by those wishing to reproduce, Rowan Evans is about to watch as her sister is to be sold to a pair of Alpha wolves, Chase and Grayson. What was one of the most memorable moments of Sold to the Alphas: A BBW Paranormal Romance?

Rowan and Rose's conversations. Rose is an eccentric old lady who means well and has a few tricks up her sleeve.

What does Meghan Kelly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

As always, Ms. Kelly's narration of a book draws you into the story. She brings the emotion needed for the scene and makes each character come to life. I always enjoy her work.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

While I wouldn't say moved is what I felt, when Rowan knew what was her heart's desire I was right there with her. I was hoping that she would make the right decision and she did (in my opinion!)

Sold to the Alphas is the 3rd book in the Sold/Simply Shifters series. As with the previous books, a woman's fertility is one of the main story lines. After the Big Freeze, something happened to cause women to become mostly infertile. In order to keep the population going women who are found to be fertile are auctioned off to the highest bidder.

In this story, the highest bidders are a pair of Alpha Wolves who want to continue their bloodlines. Rowan, unknown to anyone, has switched her test results of infertile with those of her sister's who is completely fertile She does this to try and save her sister from the awful wolves. Once purchased and taken back to the wolves' village, she finds that Chase and Grayson are nothing like she has heard. In fact, they pride themselves on protecting those who are living in the nearby towns. At the same time, Rowan starts having intimate relations with the two Alphas. She knows she needs to tell them that, as they want a child so bad, that she is infertile but she can't. These two relationships are just too much and she want more.

What does she do? Does she tell them about herself and risk being sent back to her home village a disgrace or continue to keep quiet and enjoy herself?

I recommend this book to those who are 18+ as the love scenes are hot and steamy.

A little short on plot and character development, repetitive, and erotic, but also a real hoot. Meghan Kelly reads in a prim tone that, in hysterical opposition to the erotic nature of the material, turns this short novel into a lot of fun--satire on paranormal romance, play with the teenage romance angst, and a refreshing light listen. It's another example of a book much better in audio than print, as many of the print reviewers seem to have missed the humor in this book. I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Even for this campy genre the characters are flat and story uninspired. The romantic action is surprisingly tame. Considering the premise is paranormal mmf erotic endeavors involving tickling sci-fi toys, bondage swing and fertility based servitude it was disappointingly mild ("feminine mound" is about as anatomically explicit as it gets). BBW aspect is not discussed, or mentioned so briefly as to be irrelevant to the book notwithstanding mention in it's title. The overall story length could have been reduced by half without losing any plot points, as the protagonist internal monologue is so redundant.

All this considered Meghan Kelly narrates excellently. Her tone is playful and seems privy to the absurdity of this fantasy, without judgement. She does distinct voices for several characters without confusion. Despite the weakness of the author's work, it was great reading on her part.

Sold to the Alphas is the third installment of this series and the story was much better than book two in this series. Though the story was well written and had some steamy sex scenes throughout the audiobook, at times the story did drag on a bit. Though, other than that, the story along with the narration was great!
I highly recommend obtaining a copy of this audiobook by either buying it with money or using a credit.

I enjoyed listening to this, the storyline is consistent with an easy flow.

Meghan Kelly usually does a really good job narrating, but in this story I noticed several times she repeated the last word in a sentence and other times at least half a sentence was repeated.

This is definitely meant for adults only.
