Publisher's summary
He makes the rules…
Mafia enforcer Aleksandr "The Siberian" Sevastyan's loyalty to his boss is unwavering, until he meets the boss’s long-lost daughter, a curvy, tantalizing redhead who haunts his mind and heats his blood like no other. Ordered to protect her, Sevastyan will do anything to possess her as well - on his own wicked terms.
Rules are made to be broken…
PhD student Natalie Porter had barely recovered from her first sight of the breathtakingly gorgeous Sevastyan before the professional hit man whisks her away to Russia, thrusting her into a world of extreme wealth and wanton pleasures. With every day she spends under his protection, she falls deeper under his masterful spell.
Are you ready to play?
Yet all is not as it seems. To remove Natalie from an enemy’s reach, Sevastyan spirits her into hiding. From an opulent palace in Russia to the decadent playgrounds of the mega-wealthy in Paris, the two lovers will discover that even their darkest - and most forbidden - fantasies can come true…

An Irish mobster. A missing friend. Two loyalties, ripping me apart. I had a plan. Get in, get my information, and get out. Easy, right? Turns out, infiltrating the Irish mafia isn't exactly what I thought it would be. I just wanted a soldier. Someone I could flirt with to get me in the door. That's when Lachlan Crow noticed me. Problem was, he wasn't a soldier. No, he was next in line for the throne of the Irish underworld. And he was determined to hate me from the outset.

Running away from home at 17 wasn't easy. Let's face it, though, nothing before or in the ten years since has ever been easy for me. And I'm doing okay—sorta. I just need to keep scraping by, living under the radar. Staying out of people's way, off people's minds. When a man walks through my open patio door, stepping boldly into my home and my life, I should be scared, frightened, terrified. I must be more broken than I realized because I'm none of those things. I'm intrigued—and I'm wondering if the way to take control of my life is by giving in to him.

Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Story
Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.

SO Worth the Wait! Awesome Ending to Steamy Story
Kresely Cole does an awesome job again with writing the 3rd part of the Professional. Part 2 left me hanging and wanting more and this was worth the wait! From the beginning to end, the book capitvated me and this part 3 left me in a temporary haze and I had to stop working to catch my breath. Very Hot and Steamy! All of KC's books are an automatic download for me. I love to hear happy endings along with a little kink.

CHECKMATE !!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely. I would recommend all three parts, of course. As I have said in the previous two reviews, I rarely give 5 stars to any story/narrator because I believe there is always room for improvement. However, this 3 Part story deserved the 5 and more in all three categories. The story was short but to the point. The characters were identified, the plot revealed and twists, turns and road-blocks were woven into it; there was intrigue, secrets revealed, angst experienced (much), romance, sensuality and raw sex. All of which were described by the author and performed by the narrator in a manner that drew me in and made me feel like I was either floating above looking down on all the goings on or standing invisible watching every nuance, facial expression, feeling exposed by body language; I felt a part of it all.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Syvastian and Natalie, of course. But Natalie's father a close second.
Which character – as performed by Kimberly Alexis – was your favorite?
The hero and heroine; that said she did a wonderful job with all main characters.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes. Without spoiling anything, hopefully, it was when Natalie told Syvastian that if he shared about himself she would feel closer to him; she asked questions and he answered them.
Any additional comments?
Great ending but wanted more.

The Professional: Part 3
Loved the conclusion of this story. It had a perfect ending. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't a serial. I just can't give a serial 5 stars no matter how good the story. Serials are too much of an inconvenience.

Awesome
Great book I have listened to it several times but I did NOT like having to purchase it in 3 separate parts I felt it was a rip off and how the parts were split was stupid and happened it strange places.
I am happy to see that book 2 is not separated into 3 parts.

What FSoG Should Have Been...
First of all, I loved this book! And make no mistake, even though there are 3 parts, parts 1, 2 and 3 add up to one book. It's not a trilogy. It's not 3 separate books. It's one book broken into 3 parts. The conclusion to the book comes in this instalment, which is why I'm writing my review here.
I don't know if Kresley Cole wrote this book before or after the BIG FSoG phenomenon happened, and I don't really care. Chances are though, it was published, and published in this 3 part serial version, because of the FSoG craze, perhaps trying to make it look like a trilogy. While I generally avoid all the BDSM books that have came out since, I will read anything KC writes, so here I am.
I wasn't a big FSoG fan. I found the heroine too immature and the hero a bit too stalker-ish for my taste. To each their own. This book, however, had a smart heroine who knew her own mind, a hero who was dangerous, handsome, loyal to a fault. He was just sex on a stick with a cherry on top, and loads of hotter than hot scenes that nearly melted my headphones.
In some fascinating way, even though Natalie is the submissive, it really reads as though she has all the control. When Sevastian buys clothes for her, it appears thoughtful, not controlling. Even though the story is being told from Natalie's point of view, it's Sevastian's pain you feel the most. At no point does KC let her hero venture into real "jerk" behaviour, but she keeps his razor sharp edge throughout. He's domineering and possessive and all that stuff, but in a perfectly perfect way. KC nailed this one.
I do wish this hadn't came in a serial form. After reading other reviews, I chose to wait until all 3 sections were available and purchased to start reading them (thanks reviewers!!), since I get frustrated with cliff hangers. So for me, it was less frustrating, and that's what I'd recommend to others as well. Or, as others have noted, wait until it's released on one volume, which I'm sure it will be eventually.

great book but beware of 3 parts
This was a great book. However, the 3 part split was a big turnoff. The split was irritating and felt like a money grab. otherwise, good book.
