About this listen

She wanted to hate her....

But fate has different plans.

When Jessica loses her place in the volleyball squad to the beautiful Katelyn, the same girl who recently stole her boyfriend, she withdraws into her shell in an effort to protect her sanity.

Only, destiny insists on bringing the two fierce rivals closer together.

Jessica is mortified when on the team ski trip to Italy, a cruel joke forces them to share a cabin.

The wounds are still raw. Just as tensions are about to overheat, disaster strikes in the form of an avalanche, trapping the girls inside.

Can they work together to overcome the many obstacles nature has thrown at them? Will rescue ever come? Can they survive?

The close confines of their prison fills Jessica with doubt. Could she really be developing strong feelings not only for a woman, but one she hates more than anyone else in the world?

And can they forget their grudges long enough to maybe, just maybe fall in love?

You’ll adore this best-selling, steamy lesbian romance because everyone loves an Italian adventure with a twist.

This was the second book I read about being trapped, I was pleased that the women were doing everything they could to survive. Off to my next adventure.

I'd never heard of this author but the storyline looked good and the narrator sounded impressive by the sample (plus, I loved that the women played on a sports team) so I purchased "Trapped" and was happy I did. I enjoyed the characters and the witty dialogue. the women dont get along and end up trapped in a cabin in avalanche... great listen!

Unexpectedly Very Good!

There is pausing for punctuation and then there is taking a nap in the shade for it. Ginny Ellis is definitely the latter. At first it was only slightly annoying. Towards the end it kinda felt like ... torture is too harsh, so whatever would fall under that. Other than that the story line was pretty good. There was only one part that had me saying, Really? And even though that part greatly influenced the plot it didn't completely ruin the book.

I especially loved the sponge bathing scene, and Jesse's descriptions of Katlyn's athletic figure and other parts.

lol and loved it

Trapped by Sally Bryan was a very well written story of an enemy to friends romance. The pace, timing, and landscape of this novel/audiobook was expertly laid to make the romance between Jess and Katelyn very believable. This tale comes with a bit of a twist. The lithe of Ginny Ellis's voice was a pleasant narration, and made listening very enjoyable.

Nice & quiet love

I don’t usually like a sports related story but this one was excellent. Narration was very good.

Great book with a twist

The protagonist is SO GAY and doesn't even realize it for most of the book. I like that you stick with Jess' point of view for the entire book. For this kind of story it works well to have the reader not fully aware of the love interest's motivations. I mean, you can mostly figure it out, but there's enough ambiguity that you can understand the protagonist's insecurities when it comes to their love interest. A good book well narrated.

A REALLY good enemies to lovers story

I read a lot of lesbian romance, and one of the things I appreciated about Trapped is that the characters didn't have sex just because they could. Don't get me wrong, there was definitely some temptation, and (pardon the word) titillation, but the main characters didn't just fall into each others' hoohas. I enjoyed the writing, though there was a sponge bath scene that felt super contrived, and the sex scene had some awkward vocabulary thrown in (my wife and I especially enjoyed "essence", and the retractable fingers and tongues were quite intriguing).
The narrator had a nice voice, but there was no differentiation in tone between the different characters.
I will look for more by Ms. Bryan.

I really loved this story. It felt so surreal for the two characters in the story. It's a short read and worth the time to listen.
