About this listen

Angel - I know what you're whispering in the car as you pass me by.

Hitchhiker.

When you see me walking along the side of the road with my thumb out, you'll probably keep driving without giving me a second glance.

You probably think I'm foolish. Naïve.

You might assume I've made some bad decisions.

You might think I'm too young to be on my own.

You might be right.

Travis - I love my job, but driving an 18-wheeler comes with a certain stereotype. When you hear I'm a trucker, a specific image might come to mind. Uneducated. Dirty. Perverted. Rough around the edges and a little bit dangerous.

But the truth is, I'm not any of those things. In fact, I'm pretty far from it.

You'd be surprised to find out I'm one of the good guys.

Contains mature themes.

Very nice slow YA with little sex.

A nice slow-moving, slow-burn young adult love story starring a 21 and 17, soon-to-be 18-year-old. They were just right for each other and it was a learn-together situation. Little to no angst.

Sweet

This is an oddly sweet if a little sad at times. I enjoyed getting to know these quirky characters that were pretty believable and lovable, Narration was done well and the storyline was interesting.

A trucker found his match

A trucker found his match. I listened to Dancer first because I am an Aarons fan and he did not disappointment me. This is Travis and Angel story. I was not disappointed. This was a straight forward romance, There were a few drama from the ex but nothing affect the main characters relationship. I loved Jillian and Aiden performance and had listened to them before. They will always be my favorite readers. They made this story so much better. The author was not new to me and definitely won't be my last. I highly recommend!

Fantastic story

This was a great story. It was easy to get fully engaged with the story and the characters. It flowed really well and while not a short story it felt like one as it was just so easy to read. I wasn’t exactly expecting how cute and sweet this story and these characters were. Both hero and heroine and virgins. Travis has always seemed to have bad luck with dates and he wants the first time to mean something when it happens. He is just one of the good guys and so when he sees Angel at truck stop and then walking down the side of the highway, attempting to hitchhike, he ends up picking her up because he doesn’t want something bad to happen to her. I loved her honesty and trusting nature and that Travis wanted to protect that. They had an immediate connection and they didn’t want to rush since they both really liked the other and could maybe see things going really well. They definitely had high sexual tension and chemistry and it was well done. I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait for the next one in the series!
The narrators did a great job with the story and the characters and bringing them to life.

Trucker-Girl loved Trucker!

Every "Single" Truck Driver's wish, male or female, to find that special someone at random. I loved the descriptedness to the scenes, All of the scenes. I could actually picture every scene, even the sex scenes! Very well written and eventhough I kinda already knew how it would ending, I hung on every word, every scene. Well Done!!

Sweet YA love story

At 21yo, Travis takes his job as auto mechanic/long haul trucker seriously, and is not a player. Then one day he goes against company policy and picks up a hitchhiker. Angel is just weeks away from her 18th birthday. She’s graduated from hs and has no reason to remain in Maine...after all, she’ll be aging out of foster care anyway. Angel’s plan is to travel across the country to California, when her incarcerated mother will soon be released. She’s certainly lucky to be picked up by Travis. When Travis offers to let Angel stay with him until he had to haul a delivery to CA, she accepts. The chemistry between the duo is hot and sweet. Travis is a true gentleman. This slow-burn relationship will melt your heart. A little drama with a spurned ex-date but nothing explosive. Great HEA. Excellent job by the narration team.

VERY young adult

story moved extremely slow. the h took naive and ignorant to new levels. I, at first, considered sweet as the description but had to end on dull. something interesting around chapter 32 and the mother's reaction was unexpected, other than that, just no. peace

Good New Adult Romance

Let me preface this by saying that I feel like I may be too old for new adult romances with a 17, soon to be 18 year old girl and a 21 year old boy. That said, this was a very sweet romance. Angel ran away, trying to get to California to see her mother, who is incarcerated. Serendipitously, she meets with Travis, who is a trucker and saves her when she was hitchhiking. They have a kind of fairy tale romance, very little angst and overall a sweet story. I thought that Angel is immature but then again, she was 17!

I listened to the audiobook and I love Aiden Snow although he sounded a little older than A 21 year old boy would (Though I still would have listened to him no matter what- beautifully deep voice with perfect inflections and he actually did a great female voice too). Jillian Macie was good- young voice which is perfect for Angel. Her male voice was a little off but I had no problems listening to her tell the story. Overall, a good audiobook, definitely worth a listen.

Virgin trucker and a lone hitchhiker.

Virgin trucker and a lone hitchhiker. That sounds way kinkier than this story is because it’s so sweet and lovable. I never wanted it to end. The characters were so honest and vulnerable, I absolutely loved this story.

The narration was perfect. The voices were exactly what I would have imagined in my head if I read the story.
