this book starts out with an unlucky boy and ends with some awesome legendary figures from history of their world being caught up in a epic battle and dastardly plots! I can't wait for book 2

this story reads like a bad knock off of a book series called saving supervillains by Bruce sentar, mc has an energy manipulation, mc meets a beautiful woman that draws them out of hiding their powers, corrupt city and super agency ect... anyways the similarities are striking its decent

this book had me hooked from the start, it is a pretty fast paced story that dives right into the underbelly of the city and its inner workings, it really fascinated me with the magic system and the use of the easily understood teir system

this book had me from the start to the finish the only thing I regret is that there isn't more ready to go! the character are well written and have depth that starts to unfold over the journey they take, also did I mention I want the next book yet? lol

this book starts out action-packed which I always love to see and tends to be more adult themed with its logic and gore fade to black sex scenes, it starts out with an ancient necromancer and a boy with a foisteinan(not sure if I spelled that correctly) deal after the bargin is struck the adventure begins!
