Loved this story

I am loving everything about the small town of Olive Township. The first book was all about Penn and Daisy. This one is about Hugo and Mallory. Hugo is a fencing Olympic champion and returned home to take over his families Olive Orchard. Mallory is a true crime podcaster and has come to town to investigate an unsolved death. She is also hoping to find some clues to her sister’s death. The mystery, the slow burn romance, the tension all kept me captivated in this story!
The duet narration was done by Marissa Clay, Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donahue. The duet narration was so perfect for this story!!! The perfect emotions, feelings and chemistry.

Story
A novel written by Ellie’s first love, Jack Bennett, tells the story of a young man and woman who meet at the water’s edge and fall madly in love, only to have their romance cut short by forces beyond their control. Ellie quickly realizes this is no ordinary story; it’s their story. Captivated by Jack’s words, she immerses herself in the pages, reliving the adventures they shared that magical summer. To her astonishment, hidden among the tales of star-gazing and stolen kisses is a detail that has her questioning everything.

This is a story of first love, young love, and loves that last a lifetime. Jack and Ellie met one summer break at 18 and 19 and quickly fell in love. The story spans many years and we see the characters grow but always longing for that young love they once had.
The audiobook is narrated by Elizabeth Phillips. She does a great job with the voices of the characters including southern accents. It was a delightful listen and I found myself getting lost in this love story.

Story
A full week without showers, a real bed, or Internet was bad enough. Spending it with my family’s sworn enemy—the unbearably smug, indecently handsome Miller West—is a bridge too far. I’m determined to remain enemies, even if sparring with him is my favorite thing in the world. Even if he’s hell-bent on protecting me, whether I need it or not, and surprisingly kind, no matter how awful I am to him.

I am completely obsessed with this story!! The banter, the angst, the tension, and two perfect people falling in love. This book will transport you to Tanzania hiking Mount Kilimanjaro to the streets of Manhattan to the beaches of Turks and Caicos. I did not want this story to end, I fell in love with Kit and Miller as they were falling in love with each other. This whole book was such an fun adventure from the first page to the last sentence.
The audiobook is duet narrated by Rose Dioro and Grayson Owens. This is so good in duet. The banter, the angst. I already want to listen to this book again and be back in this world!!

Story
My family's legacy is spread out in front of me, just waiting for me to seize it. If it weren't for one outdated rule, I'd be the owner of the Hayden Cattle Company and my aging father could retire. When Dakota Wright shows up to buy and develop twenty acres of Hayden land, I see more than a pretty mouth and strawberry blonde hair. I see a way around the decree keeping me from getting what I want.

I loved this story of Wes and Dakota. They had a meet cute five years ago and couldn’t get each other out of their minds. Present day Dakota is coming to town to purchase land. She meets Wes again! There is so much tension, angst, and passion. The narration is done by Hannah Chiclana and Edward Black. Perfect voices for Dakota and Wes. It was an easy listen and highly entertaining. I loved getting to know the Hayden family and can’t wait to listen to more in this series.

Story
Riggins has been in love with Stella for as long as he can remember. As kids, they’d sneak out and spend long nights under the stars writing songs together, sharing their deepest confessions, and dreaming about getting out of their small town. When his band gets a record deal and a headlining tour, he convinces her to come see the world with him, and she agrees. It doesn’t take long before Riggins gets too far into the rockstar lifestyle, and everything begins to fall apart, including his relationship.

So much angst

Two people who are so passionately in love with one another. They are two perfect pieces that just fit together. Riggins and Stella’s love story is filled with so many good and hard times, a lot of push and pull. They met and fell in love as childhood best friends. Their love story spans many years and are finally reunited many years later and all the feelings come back stronger. Right person, wrong time is a perfect example of their love story.
The audiobook is narrated by Stephen Dexter and Emma Wilder. These two brought the angst to this story. I loved their voices for Riggins and Stella. All the feelings and emotions were felt while listening to this audiobook.
"My life is like the ocean. Sometimes, I'm at the top, floating on my back, the fun on my face. Happy, warm. Whole. Other times, I'm in the deepest, dark blue depths, so cold I can't remember what the sun feels like anymore. I'm numb.”

I want to move to Laurel Creek, Kentucky and make friends with these characters!! Cece and Nash are couple goals but I also really enjoyed the side characters too. I loved all the banter and angst between Cece and Nash! He was smitten by Cece and I just love the way he takes care of her. The way they were able to overcome past obstacles and grief, communicate and fall in love. All the perfect tropes in one book make this such a fun read. And not to mention all the spice- the bourbon scene!! If you love small town romances, brother’s best friend, forced proximity, found family and secret relationship then add this to your TBR!
The audiobook was narrated by Brooke Daniels and Thomas Oakley. I adored these two on this audiobook, their accents and personalities were perfect for Cece and Nash. All the feelings in this narration.

Torren King is rock-and-roll’s broodiest bachelor. Mysterious, moody, and coveted by nearly everyone. But to me, he’s just the sad boy who set fire to my heart, then reduced me to ashes in the desert. For four sweltering nights, I burned for him, and he conquered my heart one whispered lyric at a time. But on the fifth night, he shattered me in the way only a flawless rock god can: irreparably, and with devastating finesse.

Story
Thirty years ago, my father became the other half of a broken love story. A relationship he’s kept hidden for decades. Upon unearthing his secret through a series of emails in our paper’s archives, I began my search for the truth. Haunted by my father’s love story, and in my quest for answers, I never imagined I would discover a love of my own. Or that my love for Easton Crowne would be key in discovering the reason behind what split our parents up.

Just like Drive I really think this one is best if you go into the story blind. Read Drive first then fall wholly and completely into Reverse. This entire story is just so good. So much angst, emotion and feelings.

Story
The average song is three and a half minutes long; those three and a half minutes could lead to a slow blink, a glimpse of the past, or catapult the soul into heart-shattering nostalgia. At the height of my career, I had the life I wanted, the life I’d always envisioned. I’d found my tempo, my rhythm. Then I received a phone call that left me off key. You see, my favorite songs had a way of playing simultaneously. I was in love with one man’s beats and another’s lyrics. But when it came to the soundtrack of a life, how could anyone choose a favorite song?

This is such an interesting book of love, reflection, growth. Love the music chapter headings that bring so much connection to the story. Kate Stewart writing has such a way of making you feel so much for these characters. All the feels.

Avery Kline relocates her entire life from her hometown of East Tawas, Michigan to Las Vegas, Nevada. Despite going through a tumultuous breakup, Avery is open to putting her heart back on the line when she meets the apartment’s pool security guard, Kyle Kingsley. Kyle is no stranger to female attention as all the residents seem to gravitate towards him, but he has a rule against dating girls who live at the complex. This disappoints Avery, but doesn’t discourage her from pursuing him anyway.
