About this listen

Climbing Kilimanjaro? No thank you.
Climbing it with Miller West? Absolutely f***ing not.

A full week without showers, a real bed, or Internet was bad enough. Spending it with my family’s sworn enemy—the unbearably smug, indecently handsome Miller West—is a bridge too far.

I’m determined to remain enemies, even if sparring with him is my favorite thing in the world. Even if he’s hell-bent on protecting me, whether I need it or not, and surprisingly kind, no matter how awful I am to him.

But eight days is a long time to hate someone you’re sleeping next to.

Especially when you suspect you never hated him at all.

And what happens on Kilimanjaro stays on Kilimanjaro...right?

Absolutely loved this one! Elizabeth delivers with her new banter and tension filled contemporary romance involving Kit and her trying to fight her attraction to her sister’s ex, Miller. The incorporation of the Kilimanjaro hike was a really cool background piece of the premise. It really highlighted a lot of Kit’s abilities and also tied in some of the tragic parts of her past that have really shaped the way she is. Miller’s relationship with Kit is hilarious and I loved seeing little hints that she’s been the one for him all along. Kit has a lot to work thru with her family and I just wanted to shake her sometimes and tell her that she owes them nothing considering the way they’ve treated her. I was glad her dad and Miller pushed her to reclaim her life and live it the way SHE wants to. Elizabeth gave us the delicious build up and spice that she always does so you won’t be disappointed there 😋 the duet narration from Rose Dioro and Grayson Owens was fantastic! They really brought all the characters to life and made the book even more enjoyable!

Elizabeth another flawless enemies to lovers !

I had so much fun listening to this amazing, and addicting, enemies-to-lovers romance! Miller and Kit's delightful, slow burn story had all the feels, packing so much into it that I didn't want it to end. Kit find's herself forced, by her father, to take a harrowing climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro. She didn't expect to have her older sister's ex being there as well. She tried to stay mad at him for the past, but he was attentive and helped her not only survive the climb she wasn't prepared for, but enjoy it as well. Miller enjoyed the snarky banter with Kit. She challenged him, and excited him, ever since she was a teen. When he realized he liked her more than her sister, he left them both behind. Now years later, he is even more attracted to Kit and determined to win her over, and prove he is the perfect partner for her. Kit has always put her family needs before her own. Miller shows her she is so much more and that she should follow her own passion. She has always wanted Miller, but wouldn't want to hurt her sister. Can She find the strength to let go of the past and follow her dreams, with Miller by her side? There was so much to love about this endearing romance with it's compelling characters, heartfelt story, fun banter, and loads of hot sizzling chemistry! I absolutely adored Miller, he was so thoughtful, and swoony, making sure Kit was safe and protected. Kit is smart, and caring, and it was fun watching her challenge Miller and give in to love.
Rose Dioro and Grayson Owens brought this story to life so beautifully. They did a terrific job delivering all of the witty banter, and capturing each characters personality. I love the emotion, and passion they bring to their performances, making me fall for Kit and Miller even harder. This fun, emotional and steamy romance is so engaging, and totally addicting! It is pure magic that captured my heart and made me completely happy!

Amazing, and addicting, enemies-to-lovers romance!

5 STARS AND SO MUCH MORE FOR THIS READ!
I have loved everything from Elizabeth O'Roark, and this is no exception. When I first started this one, I wasn't sure. But soon after starting, I was so invested in Kit and Miller that I couldn't stop listening.
This story had me in all the feels. And with every book I read, that is a sibling's ex trope, I find I love it.

Miller and Kit have the perfect amount of chemistry and banter that will keep you entertained. Even though he is her sister's ex, it was years before this book takes place.
I love Miller for the way he is with Kit. He has this way of pushing her. But at the same time, there if she needs him.
Kit is trying so hard to fit into this box that was created for her. When she has the strength to stand up for what she wants, it makes me love her more. She has the tenacity to do anything she sets her mind to.

Rose Dioro and Grayson Owens perform this one in DUET style and done so seamlessly. Rose has a soft voice that is perfect for Kit as Grayson has a gruff voice that is perfect for the broody Miller.
These two have the perfect balance for these characters in their tones and emotions that make this story so wonderful to listen to.

I am already hooked, and I can't wait for more set in this world!!

My Favorite Bad Decision is an enemies to lovers, siblings ex boyfriend romance and I could not get enough of Kit and Miller. The tension, the banter, the chemistry between these two was just perfection. I did not want to put this one down once I started. Kit and Miller meet again after ten years when they are both climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. They start off with lot of verbal sparring but the more time they spend together the more they become friends. I loved seeing how caring and protective Kit was of the people around her. I loved that Miller was there for her with her family drama and helped her see what she really wanted. This one is has moved to the top of my favorite from Elizabeth and I loved every moment.

Rose Dioro and Grayson Owens narrate this audio in duet. Rose did great at portraying Kit’s sweet and sassy sides but also guilt Kit had for the feelings she had for Miller. Grayson is new to me and I loved his portrayal of Miller. He brought the swoon and care that Miller had for Kit. Rose and Grayson both gave amazing performances. I’m looking forward to more from this series.

So good!

Narrating was on point. Both did a great job bringing Miller and Kit to life.

The story of Miller and Kit enemies to lovers so to speak, he was her sister's ex and they clashed since she met him at 17 years old. Little did she know he had fallen for her and ended things with her sister because of his feeling for her. All these years she hated him for breaking up with her sister via text not knowing why. Now they are in forced proximity on a trip long trip. I liked how they eventually came to appreciate and develop deep feelings for each other. Not a big fan of her mother or some things about the trip but overall I did enjoy the story. Charlie the step brother was comical and I did like her dad.

Thank you to Elizabeth O’Roark and Valentine PR for providing me an early copy of this audiobook. All opinions are my own.

This was a really fun, action-adventure-ish romance, with a little forbiddenness and enemies to loversness to it.

Miller dated Kit’s older sister for a summer when Kit was 17. After he broke up with said sister…via text…he became enemy number 1, but oh no, 10 years later and he’s booked on the same climbing expedition as her. 😩👀

I really enjoyed the climbing aspect in this one; it added a bit of an action-adventure vibe to the beginning, while also giving all the forced proximity goodness.

I loved Miller and the care he gave to Kit throughout the book. It was always so sweet and thoughtful, especially for a character like Kit who’s always taking care of others.

I am already so intrigued by some of the side characters, especially Kit’s sister, Maren, and I *think* this is just the start of a series? So hoping we get a bit more with her! 🤞

Audiobook notes: Duet Narration! Both narrators were great! Definitely recommend the audio!

Great Duet Audiobook

This story has it all!! Great main characters, banter, tension, side characters interesting and add to the story. My one little criticism is the resolving of the main issue in the story between the sisters. For this being the main bone of contention between the two, it seemed like it was pretty easily resolved. However there is no other author I would rather read… so in my book it’s still a 10!!!

Kit and Miller’s story is filled with all the heartwarming moments mixed with the best banter!

⛰️Billionaire romance
⛰️Sister’s ex boyfriend
⛰️Forced proximity
⛰️Age gap
⛰️Only one tent

When Kit decides to go out of her comfort zone FOR REAL, and climb Kilimanjaro, she doesn’t expect to see her sister’s ex, aka her sworn enemy.

Miller does his best to get in Kit’s good graces and after a mishap with his tent, they are forced to spend extra time together. And throughout their hike, their attraction gets stronger and that turns into something even more real.

But how will they make it work when they get home? Will their feelings stay at Kilimanjaro, or will they get a real life HEA?

I loved these two! You can tell from the very beginning that they were going to be explosive together and they were in the best way. I loved all of the banter and hilarious moments throughout for these two!

Rose Dioro and Grayson Owens were the best pairing for this duet style narration. Rose’s sweet mixer with sassy was the perfect Kit and Grayson’s charm embodied all that is Miller.

What a fun adventure!

I've been in love with you for a decade.” ~ Miller West

Miller West is an absolute dream and I didn't want this book to end. I loved Kit's feisty independence and the way she and Miller engaged in their verbal sparring. But his constant support of her had my insides in a gooey puddle.

Rose Dioro's performance as Kit was perfection! She nailed each of Kit’s barbs as well as the vulnerabilities hiding behind her sharp tongue. Grayson Owens definitely brought the swoon factor as Miller - so good!

Elizabeth O’Roark took us all over the globe this story and I adored every moment of it. I cannot wait for more in this new series!

I loved this book. Its a great swooney love story with just a touch of spice thrown in. The story was original and fun to listen to, I agreed to listen to the ALC based on the author alone (I really love Elizabeth's stories and this was no exception).

Kit and Miller have great chemistry and their bickering/banter just makes you fall for them all the more. Kit comes from a dysfunctional family and through this story you see how much her character grows the more she is around Miller.

Both narrators did fantastic on this book. It was a pleasure to listen to them...i listened to the whole book in one sitting.

I was given and ALC to listen to and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
