Story
Noah Brown has a gift for fighting. Unfortunately, punching things doesn't pay the bills, at least until he died and an Eldritch god found his soul. The encounter brings him to a new world, summoned by bloody cultists. He's got nothing but the shirt on his back and a strange item in his system menu.

I can’t be the only one who thinks that the MC is a doormat

The guy just keeps taking shit from every single person. Like I get person A is super strong or is a place of power and he just takes crap from every single person. I don’t think I’m going to get the next book if he doesn’t get a back bone.

Feels like a jump

Personally it feels like there’s good chunk of time that was skipped and in the second book seemed to be setting up for the flood to happen but we get this weird skip and kinda wiped around a lot

Story
The Goddess Samantha, new domains of deific influence primed for the world below, charges ahead to kindle the fires of a new order. Questions of her true origins and significance abound, but the path forward is the same as it is for any mortal: one foot in front of the other. Buried in the dirt is the call of risk, reward, and sacrifice. Time to dig deep, baby.

Love the idea of the story

I’m going to be taking a break from it. I personally find the MC alil pitiful. Its mentioned that she’s a goddess but theres all the self pity (atlases that what is comes across to me) I let it go in the first book thinking it would get better in the next but she hasn’t changed any. She has the small amount of actually acting like a goddess but goes back to the self pity and self doubt.

I’m mostly just annoyed with all the adults mostly her parents who say their trying to teach her but just had her a thing and say work it out and after mc fails just say o this is what you did wrong and other crap like ya no one ever tried to teach her anything before and it seems like everyone expects her to know those things already
