Story
I’ve always been a wild card–the first to start a fight on the ice, and the life of the party off it–but appearances can be deceiving. Being traded to the Boston Rebels could not have come at a better time. With serious family obligations to fulfill and a contract renewal with a new hockey team on the line, I have no time for anything else. I return to Boston knowing I need to buckle down and focus on what really matters.

Not just another romance this story has depth
Reviewed: 07-09-25
This was a great audiobook. The narrators are two of my favorites so no surprise that they did an awesome job. This story had so much depth that I enjoyed. Audrey was a strong FMC and I really enjoyed how real her character was. She had distrust from her past, which at times got in her way and you wanted to yell at her but the other characters did it for me haha. She was a fantastic single mom and was fulfilled in her life, crushing it at work as well. She didn't need a man but Drew complimented her and with him that was a bonus to her life. I also loved how she took the pole dancing classes just for her, to boost her confidence and to have fun. She didn't tell anyone about it, that was her self care. Drew had some real struggles going on at home, and learning he was a dad upon returning to Boston was a lot but he navigated it all so well, while making an effort and showing up for Audrey to prove to her, he was all in.
All in all this was a great story, and the side characters added to it. I'm looking forward to reading/listening to more of this series.

Story
I’m the last single mom standing. We had a plan. Move into my great aunt’s old house and raise our kids together. Just four best friends, doing their best to stay afloat. But then three of them had to go and fall in love. Now, my crumbling brownstone is filled with loving couples, leaving me in the cold.

LOVED IT
Reviewed: 07-07-25
The narrators were fantastic. There really is no one like Joe Arden and in the previous books I couldn't picture any other narrator for Delia than Samantha Brentmoor. I loved the banter between these two. How almost immediately Enzo stood up for Delia to Beckett and Courtney, calling them out on their behavior and mindset. This book had such a good Fu** it moment. There were steamy scenes, sweet vulnerable scenes, and humor as with all these books. The basement LOL IYKYK. The bathroom surprise SWOON. The efforts Enzo goes to, to show up for the twins SWOON. I can't believe this series is over.
The epilogue here was great- Typical Beckett and his plans haha. This series was truly such a joy to listen to and I'm sure I'll revisit them in the future. After the first book, I do think this one was my favorite. It never seemed like Delia would be one to fall in the other books so the wait was so worth it. I highly recommend this book and this series to anyone looking for a feel good, spicy rom com.

An incredible second chapter of this duet
Reviewed: 07-07-25
SPOILERS AHEAD:
Again the narrators were Incredible. For about the first half of this book I was so angry at Cash and his inability to listen to anyone around him. His absolute refusal to believe that it wasn’t Grace’s fault. Then her giving into him when he is such a dick really got to me and how he continued to need her and then destroy her after argh!
I was frustrated waiting for the moment he realizes how wrong he was. It was so so satisfying when it finally happened. He then stepped up and really wooed Grace. The two of them with their assumptions sometimes drove me crazy but in the best of ways I was so invested in their relationship. When Grace gets pregnant I loved how happy and supportive his family was. Then when everything went down with his dad I was so glad Cash didn’t F it up again. It was a thrilling twist and a nice way for Graces mother to redeem herself. They had the happiest happily ever after and I was so happy with the conclusion of this love story. I am dying to read on for Cat and Jay. Also as a side character I really loved Hayden not for Grace but in general and I hope we see his happily ever after some day.
One thing I’d love to know is if chase had anything to do with the dad’s plans. I don’t think so but I felt he was a loose end in that story. I also realllly want to know who the mom is.
10/10 recommend this duet

Story
It was supposed to be a simple weekend away to forget the heartache caused by my cheating husband. But the man sitting next to me in 1B has different plans. Cash’s whiskey-colored eyes and easy smile beg me to dance beneath the stars, kiss in the moonlight, and walk hand in hand down the streets of Boston. Unfortunately, life has other plans because I’m still married, and Cash James is the billionaire playboy standing between me and my dream promotion.

The narrators were incredible.
The angst in this book, was really killing me, sometimes I had to pause, I was just so invested in their relationship. The narrators really brought to life the feelings of each character. The end was explosive and emotional, so much so I immediately launched into listening to book 2!

Story
There's no such thing as a perfect guy, but Xavier Rush comes disastrously close. A gorgeous veterinarian giving Greek god vibes—all while cuddling a tiny kitten? Immediate yes. That is until Xavier opens his mouth and proves that even sculpted gods can say the absolute wrong thing. Like, really wrong. Of course, there’s nothing Samantha loves more than proving an asshole wrong . . . unless, of course, he can admit he made a mistake.

Abby at her best! A beautiful story
Reviewed: 06-26-25
I loved this audio right out of the gate. The story was wonderful. A beautiful romance filled with some laugh out loud moments. At the same time it was a very real glimpse of what it's like to experience a loved one going through dementia. Having been there myself this book really hit home, but instead of making me sad, as other books have done, it just made me think of my loved one and the happy memories I had.
The full circle moment with Hank was EVERYTHING. IYKYK.
A wonderful book about love, family and handling the challenges that come with life as a team and with your person. True love can handle the distance and it shows you that stuff doesn't matter but making memories with the ones you love does.
This is my favorite Abby Jimenez book so far and I've loved all of them.

Story
With green eyes and an easy smile, Frank McCabe stole me away from the nightmares that awaited me at home. But the son of the Irish Mob would never be mine. I belonged to the Italians. And the moment my mother sold me to the head of the Italian Mafia, I became the one the people of Boston were warned about. The only person more feared than me in our city is the Irish Ghost. When I finally flee my marital prison with my sons and my sister in tow, I unwittingly run straight into the ghost of the Irishman who died in a fiery explosion years ago.

I love Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell as narrators together they are always incredible. This performance was no different. They elevated the story with the way they brought the emotions of the words to life. The storyline was interesting and I loved the development of the characters as they fought for their happily ever after. How Frank, ensures their happily ever after was so well done I was applauding him. This story made me smile, laugh, and at times my heart was in a vise with the angst. I loved this! One of my favorite love stories of the year!

Story
In Fiasco, Kentucky, there is one rule: never fall for a Foxx brother. Any woman who did, ended up dead—or so the rumor goes. Townies call it a curse. But I’ve lived it, and I won’t survive it again. I’m not a cop anymore, but I’ve seen enough danger to know that Laney Young, the beautiful stranger who just showed up in my small town, is running from it. She’s lying about where she came from and what she’s doing here. I don’t want her near my family or the quiet life I’ve made for myself. But my brothers have other plans.

Within the first couple of chapters of this audiobook I was asking myself why I waited so long to read this book. I don't think anyone could have picked better narrators for this story than Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais. They were fantastic. When I'm into a book I can binge listen and it's over too soon. With this book I never wanted it to end so I savored it like a good sip of bourbon. The storyline, the character interactions, the spice were perfection. When the suspense came to a head it was pulse pounding and emotional. The ending was everything I could have wanted. I loved this book and I can't wait to read the next two.
If you love romantic suspense don't wait like I did to read this series. Dive in now!

Things that stress out this widowed single mom: high fructose corn syrup, intrusive thoughts about my son getting swept up by a tornado, and the sexiest hockey player to grace this planet. The fun continues in Book 3
Reviewed: 06-04-25
The fun continues for the Mom's in Book 3. If you've listened to the other books you know Shay is the overly healthy cautious mom of the group. In this book we watch as Shay meets Rowen and as their romance develops she finds ways to start to relax her almost obsessive health and caution rules. She starts to let Kai live a little more and be a true kid. Rowen has it down bad for Shay early on. While I did laugh out loud during a part of this story it wasn't as romcomy as the previous books. This was more of a sweet hockey romance.

Great Narration and Good Story
Reviewed: 05-28-25
The narrators did a great job. Maxine Mitchell is so great at expressing emotion with her voice and she does it well in this audiobook, showcasing Kira's emotions as the story unfolds. This story was interesting and well done, at times it had my heart in a vise and my eyes tearing up. However what keeps me from marking this as four stars was the constant repetition of dragon during the first half or more of the book. It became excessive and annoying, it detracted from the enjoyment for me. If that had been cut back this would have been a four star listen for me.

The narrators performance of this story was fantastic. The accents, the emotion, humor, groans, moans, squeals truly amazing. They brought this dark romantic comedy to life. I’m not sure this is a book I would get into reading but due to the performance I really enjoyed myself.
There were times I really felt like gagging because while a comedy this book is still graphic. As the trigger warnings said “this is a book about serial killers so expect generally messed up murder and chaos” which is what you got.
