Narration lacking
Reviewed: 10-15-22
The story was good, however, the narrators had me struggling. There seemed to be very little attempt to make the characters voices any different, it’s hard to follow a conversation between multiple people when they all sound the same, in particular the men and women.

Story
He tasted like tequila and the fake name I gave him was Rose. Four years ago, I decided to get over one man, by getting under another. A single night and nothing more. I found my handsome stranger with a shot glass and charming but devilish smile at the end of the bar. The desire that hit his eyes the second they landed on me ignited a spark inside me, instant and hot. He was perfect and everything I didn’t know I needed.

Flat and pedantic
Reviewed: 07-07-22
The story is mediocre at best, it’s honestly very flat. The characters nor the story line had me engaged, and the whole thing is rather pedantic. I have no desire to read/listen to more from this author.

Story
When you say you're a sexologist, people imagine Marilyn Monroe. They don't expect a woman who uses a wheelchair. As the host of the All Access Podcast, I'm breaking barriers, crushing stigmas, and creating sexual connections that are fulfilling for my fans. Only, I've hit a snag. A lovely listener wants some advice about accessible rope play and I'm drawing a big fat blank. Which leaves me with no option but to get out there and give it a go. Which is how I meet Jay Wood - rigger, carpenter, and all-around hottie.

Great narration, mediocre story
Reviewed: 12-10-21
I love the premise of the story, and the female lead is fun, the guy, I think, is a bit flat. The story has grammatical issues, and the sex scenes all have the exact same vocabulary, and thus felt stale.

Story
Sierra Blake has returned home to Mill Hollows, Virginia. She's lost her job as a hotel marketing executive. She knew getting romantically involved with the son of the franchise owner was a bad idea. Turning down his marriage proposal left Sierra updating her resume and needing a change of scenery. Returning to the small football-loving town located in view of the Blue Ridge Parkway is definitely a change of scenery from the sultry heat and water sport enthusiast city of Tampa.

Story was okay, Narration wasn’t my shtick
Reviewed: 07-25-20
The story moved ridiculously fast, and touched on storylines from multiple family members, but focused more on Wes and Sierra. Even though it was slightly more about Wes and Sierra it didn’t focus on them enough to make it clear who the actual target of the story was until 20 min before the end.
There are technical issues with the sound (louder and softer), and poorly done retakes in a few places. The narrator just didn’t do it for me, I didn’t feel like it had me engaged at all.

Overall I enjoyed it.
I do, though, feel like the characters in this story (both parts) started out acting like adults, and did a major slide back to young adult in the middle.
The narrator had some trouble with the pronunciation a few words, and it sometimes seemed a bit choppy.

There were a few pronunciation issues, but overall the narration was good. The story seemed a bit silly and childish, especially with characters in their 30’s.

Story
Kat saw the warning signs that her marriage was on the brink of collapse. The pressure of middle-class existence, an absent sex life, and a husband about to lose his job all spelled disaster. In a last-ditch effort to save their marriage, she hatched a plan to remind Ethan of their sexier days. First, she convinced him to take her on his next business trip. Second, she mailed a negligee to the lodge where they would be staying. Third, she had to figure out which model Ethan gave the negligee to when he didn't realize it was for her.

In the morning, she was gone and had taken my solace with her. I left for the military that day, vowing never to return to Pennsylvania. When my father dies, I’m forced to go home to bury him. At least I'll finally be rid of his farm, which is grown over and tangled with memories I've fought to forget. And that’s when I find her. She’s even more beautiful than I remember and has the most adorable kid I’ve ever seen. Years have passed, but my feelings are the same, and this time I refuse to let her go. They say you can't bury the past, and they're right.
