Not my favorite
Reviewed: 01-30-22
I was excited to read this book due to the reviews. It’s very long; not necessarily a turn off, but there was nothing juicy about this book. I wished there were intense twists that kept me on my toes. I finished the entire book but slightly disappointed upon finish. If you like heart warming (non thrillers), you’d enjoy this book. I enjoy heart warming books but nothing took me by surprise.

Best Lisa Jewell Book
Reviewed: 12-17-21
I have listened to several books by Lisa Jewell. Some I throughly enjoyed, some I was disappointed with the ending, and a couple I couldn’t get into. This one is well worth the listen!!! I would love it if this book had a volume 2 and I think this book would be an excellent movie. I Highly recommend!

Could of had a better ending
Reviewed: 12-11-21
I enjoyed this book a lot, but wish the ending was more thorough. It doesn’t just end without proving answers but it should have had an extra chapter or two to bring the story to a full circle.

I throughly enjoyed the end of the book. There are other books that just come to and erupt ending. This ending of this book gave me a sense of fulfillment.
The narrators did an excellent job bringing the story to life.

Story
Ten years ago he killed my son. Today I married him. Ten years ago my darling son Jesse was murdered and our perfect family was destroyed. My strong, handsome boy, so full of life, became a memory, a photo I carried with me everywhere. But today I’m finally close to finding happiness again. My ash-blonde hair has been curled into ringlets. Carefully placed white flowers frame my delicate features. The small, drab chapel has been prettied up with white satin, and there are tiny red hearts scattered on the small table where I will soon sign the register with my new husband.

Sally Rooney is such an amazing and talented author. I enjoyed this book as much as her previous ones. I finished this book in 2 days! I couldn't turn it off. I will listen to this again, very soon. I just ordered a hard copy so I can follow along in Audible.
I loved the descriptive language Sally Rooney used in the book, but where it stuck out the most, to me, were in the letters.
Great Narrator!!!
