Story
I was to wed a Lord of my parents’ choosing. Wealth can’t buy you everything, or I would have had freedom years ago. Instead, my strict parents made sure I lived a dull life in a mansion resembling a prison. But on my wedding day, I was handed over to another man—an even more ruthless Lord that my family hated. Tyson Riley Crawford only wanted me for his revenge. I’m nothing more than a debt to be paid. I didn’t have a say in the matter. So when I said my vows before the congregation, I knew I’d break them. Consequences be damned.

Narrator not my fav

I really liked the story, but I did not like the male narrator in this one. It annoyed me the entire audiobook but I made it through. This one wasn’t as dark as the last one. I enjoyed the story. Now on to the next.

I can't go back to my family. I'm not worthy of them, could never be one of them again. The sister they know, love, and remember doesn't exist. Not anymore. Until him... The one who took me in, healed me from my demons, my fears, my scars, piecing me back, bit by bit.

I really enjoy this series. I’ve liked all the books, though this one was my least favorite. This was more depressing than any of the others. Still looking forward to the next one. I hope it gets back on track :)

Story
I never expected life to be easy . . . As the youngest female Alpha in the region, I had to fight to keep my title and claim my pack. Through blood and sweat, I dragged Cerberus out of the dark ages and built a safe haven. I was proud of everything I'd done. Everything changed on what was supposed to be the best day of any shifter's life. All the walls I'd built came crashing down with one look at my fated mate. Never once in my wildest nightmares, did I expect this dark and unhinged Alpha to be mine.

Story
After the Mage Council publicly excised me, I've finally got my first real case. And I've even taken on a brand-new employee: a werewolf with impulse control issues. But my sister just lost everyone she loves, and she’s begging me to ask Samael for help. Whether I like it or not, I need Samael's resources. Because anyone who can kill that many witches has the kind of power we can't afford to ignore. And there's no point dodging the demon who manages to involve himself in all of my problems.

I complained about the last book because Danika was being a brat, but she finally wised up! This book was fun and the ending was perfection. Glad I continued with the series. Can’t wait to listen to the next book.

Story
Ever since I got involved with the demons, my life has fallen apart. Now, I’m persona non grata with the mage council. And because of me, my sister is in danger. If that wasn’t bad enough, I’m suddenly responsible for protecting two gnome kids. But it gets worse. I’m learning that everything I thought I knew about myself was a lie. And the underhanded demon who bonded with me? Well, he’s convinced he can keep me. When ancient fae artifacts start going missing, I have to use every trick up my sleeve to locate them.

Not as good as her other series
Reviewed: 05-03-24
Danika is annoying. I really dislike women protagonist who are just spoiled and don’t appreciate what they have. Like another reviewer stated, if she doesn’t wise up and act like an adult, I won’t be able to continue this series. Danika is always so mad about anything her “love interest” does. I want Samael to leave her and find someone else.

A thousand years have passed since a dragon has been seen in the world. Science and technology have replaced magic, which has dwindled until it has become little more than an element of myth and legend. There are those who still have dragon blood flowing through their veins, distant descendants of the mighty creatures of old. These rare humans have the power to cast magic, the power to heal, and the power to craft alchemical weapons capable of starting wars...or ending them.

Loved these 3. Will continue the series. The books are light and fun with a lot of action and a little romance. Good guys win, just the way I like it. No dumb, irritating characters. If you like this genre, you’ll like these books.

Love Maude and Arlan
Reviewed: 03-25-24
Loved the slight detour and focus on Maude and Arlan. This story doesn’t focus on the inn, but on the vampires and it was perfectly timed. This story was engaging and just as fun as the inn stories. In general, I like that the people are sensible and that the author doesn’t make the characters do stupid stuff just to continue or draw out the story. Great series.

I absolutely love this series. I read everything (especially series) and this is by far my favorite. The “hero” is consistent, smart, and an all together bad-you know what!. I don’t like my hero’s to fail and this doesn’t disappoint. The writing is superb. I only want more and don’t ever feel like “omg why are they so stupid” like I feel with some other books of this genre.

It was ok. I read these types of books all the time, and am used to feeling like I can’t purchase the next book in the series fast enough. Not the case here. I won’t be listening to the second one. Maybe if this is your first foray into these types of books it would be okay, otherwise, not worth a credit. The story was odd and unconvincing.
