Story
The moment Blair Jensen sneered jock at me, I was captivated. Then she poured a beer over my head and walked away like I was nothing. Nobody turned down Cage Wilder, nobody, and I knew then that I had to have her, no matter the consequences. She bruised my ego and embarrassed me in front of my football buddies, turning me into the laughing stock of the team, so I made a bet with them. They claimed there wasn’t any way I could melt the heart of Blair the Ice Queen; after all, she had shown her disgust for me.

Twist ending
Reviewed: 02-21-24
I like dark romance and bully romance so this story was right up my lane. Trigger warnings definitely needed for those who are not into these types of stories. The ending was a twist but believable considering the characters.

Five hundred years ago, I fell in love with a vampire. It was a crimson fever that consumed me. I gave up my home, my family, and my pack to be with her. She obliterated my heart at the first opportunity. Our fates are bound whether I like it or not. If she dies, I die. She may have a death wish, but I don't. When she decides to risk everything for revenge, I have no choice but to stop her and find a way to be free of the vow I made. But surviving the dangers of Ellnesari together might not have the outcome I expect.

Left me hanging at the end
Reviewed: 02-19-24
I really liked this book and the series overall. It did leave me hanging in the end..I hope there will be more about it in book 5 to close it off about Manu, Carl, Sheryl and Ronon. It kind of leaves it to your own conclusion but I’d rather not lol. I enjoyed this series and hope to see what happens in book 5.
