About this listen

Her life is like a prison cell. A self-made, to-hell-with-the-free-world existence that locks from the inside. Stop judging. Her agoraphobia doesn’t define her. It simply keeps her safe.

He belongs in a prison cell. The 6x8, make-me-your-b*tch variety that locks from the outside. But he’s free. To hunt. To take. To break. And he just found a new toy.

Capturing her is the easy part. Her f--ked-up mind, however, makes him question everything he does next.

But he’s a determined bastard. If all goes his way, this will hurt like hell.

Note: HEA with no cliffhanger.

I loved this audible. Jo Raylan and Ryan West did a great job as Amber and Van. I loved Van...as bad as he was in Deliver, he had slowly changed into a better person. Amber had major issues and it was rough between the couple at first but it worked out, slowly. I liked how it was not instant love for them but it grew into something very special. And the forgiveness was the absolute best. I can't wait to hear Amelia's story!!!

Satisfied!!

This series is absolutely amazing. If you've ever read anything by this author you alley already know to expect dark, dirty and steamy.

she doesn't mask bad story lines with smut she gives you all the jaw dropping, eye popping, laugh out loud pages you can expect

Crazy good

Very interesting, believable and realistic. Sadly this probably happens daily. I couldn’t stop listening to the story!!

Great story

I really didn't want to know Van's story because of how terrible he was in the first book. I had him pegged as truly evil... BUT I devoured this book. I just couldn't stop. Amber was made for Van and Van was made for Amber. Each of their dark and ugly bits complimented the other's perfectly.
It's a testament to Pam Godwin and her writing that a villian as dark and vile and Van Quiso can come out looking like a decent, good man.

Gripping!!

I was skeptical in the beginning of this book that Van would be the person Amber needed, that he wouldn't break her apart before he attempted to build her up again. I suppose in a way he did, but his actions throughout the books endeared me more and more to him. I had a soft spot for him from the beginning, but I had no idea how much I'd fall in love with this character and his transformation. He and Amber were so perfect, their flaws different yet so similar in their intensity and evolving destruction, and it was so brilliant the way they healed one another. I was once again impressed by Pam Godwin and her writing skills as well as the performances of the narrators. I wish I could express how amazing this book is with words, but I can't. You have yo listen to it to get the full force of the story and how these characters and their battles affect your emotions as you listen. As someone with panic attacks, I can relate to Amber in a way and I was rooting for her from the very beginning yet her strength based not in Van but in herself (when he gave her the chance to pull it to the surface) was so wonderful. I'll likely finish this whole series since I'm utterly addicted to Pam's writing. I would have paid two credits, knowing the amazing story I was going to hear. I look forward to Camila's story next!

Words don't express my love for this book!

One of my favorite narrators- Jo Raylan! Bring this charm to more than life, her job , and is excellent at it! Fabulous story, how to deal with agoraphobia... how to fix her .. and turn into a decent guy. Quite a feat! Plausible... great listen non the less! Anxious for the whole series!

Great book 2!

As someone who suffers from agoraphobia and panic disorder this book hit home for me. It was so realistic in the descriptions of emotions. This book was definitely hot! Well written and a whirlwind of emotions

Awesome book!

The performances were great. The story is good but oh so dark. Check your triggers!

Dark so dark but so much light

Transformation and redemption! This really was well written! The mental health issues were very gripping! I will 100% continue the series

Woe!

The first book was great, this one was harder to get into. I struggled with the story line and Van sort of being a different person, just wasn’t sure how it played into the first book. Possibly this has set it up for the 3rd book- so we will have a bigger story background. But not sure if I’ll end up reading it, this wasn’t the same as the first, at all. This wasn’t a weird love story that has none of the undertones of the 1st book, didn’t feel like a series book at all. Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be. Either way I got through it.

Kind of confused as to how the story aligned, but not bad
