Story
Zane was driving home from work when the world changed. Thousands of dungeons spawned at once, taking up every inch of Earth—including the road he’s driving on. He wakes up to a totaled car and a broken leg, facing down a goblin trying to spear him through the guts. And that's just the start of it. But to Zane’s surprise, he finds himself enjoying this brutal new world. While others cower and hide, he goes on the hunt. He unlocks a unique Berserker skill—the more damage he takes, the stronger he gets.

Just finished this book and I loved it…and it made me buy the rest of the series. The narrator does a great job and I love that he uses an 80s surfer villain voice when narrating the bad guys. If you want a fun read, then give it a shot, it’s worth the time.

I can’t remember the last time I was left hanging this bad, if I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were “a no good tricky hobbit. -Golum” Needless to say I can’t wait for the next one. Keep up the great work #NicoliGonnella you will always have fans in my household.

Just finished this book and it was amazing! I absolutely love this series and the characters in them. If you like this series or curious about it, it’s full of humor, sarcasm, loyalty, family, friends, and pure tomfoolery. I hope you’ll enjoy it and I don’t know about the rest of you readers but Clive really needs to get a new wife. #kindofmything 😳😉🤣

Another fantastic story about Jason. This author does a remarkable job of releasing books in a very quick manner…and they never get old! As long as Shirtaloon keeps writing, I will always purchase his books. Thanks again for such a great story, and I can’t wait until April, when your next book comes out.

Story
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

A Cornucopia of Awesomeness!
Reviewed: 04-09-22
I purchased this book on a whim, and man alive I’m glad I did! The characters, storyline and concepts of this book are absolutely fantastic. The level of sarcasm and humor, is something I completely relate to, and if I ended up in the same situation as Jason, I think I’d act the same myself. If you’re looking for a lighthearted book that entertains, than this story is for you. The author and narrator do a wonderful job bringing this story to life and this series has become one of my family’s favorite. Shirtaloon does a phenomenal job of writing/releasing books in this series, that you soon become spoiled and wish every author was like this. Once again, if you’re looking to take a chance on a book, take it on this one, you won’t be disappointed. And he writes in away, that the whole family can listen and you’re not worried about profanity or graphic sexual material popping up in the story.

if you’re looking for a new fantasy series, let this be it. I just finished this book, and man alive it was a cornucopia of awesomeness!!!
I’ve seen reviews stating that this story reinvigorates the fantasy genre, and I don’t think that adequately describes what this story does. This first book has left me speechless, and hungry for more. My only regret in reading this, is that the series is not done yet. From this book alone, I am now an Evan Winter fan, and will read anything he will publish…including his grocery list.

Eric - part-time king, quasi-avatar, and unconventional wizard - has an epic quest before him. He must return to his lost kingdom to save it, slay a creature claiming to be a god, and navigate the terrible risks of a paradox that could undo everything! And to top it off, he's trying to raise a daughter. Nobody said being a vampire was going to be easy, but none of this was in the brochure!

Once again Brent Weeks writes another phenomenal story! The book keeps you guessing and wondering through the whole thing. Every time a new bomb is dropped, you think the story is ending and them you realize your only half way through the story. All I have to say is, if I had read this when it was first released, I would’ve gone mad waiting for the next books.
