A charming, inventive, well written tale, The reader is a perfect partner to the story I’m spell bound

A charming story. A wonderfully inventive reality, that feels so real. Well written and the reader is a perfect compliment to the story. He successfully makes the annoying character traits annoying and uncovers the more formative tender parts with grace.
I find myself SO involved with the characters and the reality Maiga created I am hungry for more. , please

I anticipate some reviews will have commentary on the annoying aspects of a lead character, but for me, Maiga wrote that character so well, their annoying personality gave them more depth.

Not a flowery swards, and dragons, and swoonings romance, nor an adult erotic fantasy … but a sweet story of love and magic, strength and fears

The authors desperately needed a good audio editor … they read like middle school camp activities directors

If you’re going to use people’s names, particularly as a 'credential' to support your work,
look up how they are pronounced. John Grinder, co-founder of NLP, his name is
not pronounced Grinder like a pepper grinder, like the author pronounced it,
But GRINder … the first syllable pronounced like “grin” like a smile ...
The book is a good compilation of a number of sources studying consciousness, with some well formulated exercises and somatic concepts culled from those sources. A Very good 'introduction' ... but I'd strongly suggest buying the hard-copy book, rather than this audio rendition. I typically avoid books "read by the author" and this one is the example that proves the rule... in my opinion, of course ...

Ok, do heed the warning in the beginning of the book … but if you can get past that
Both the Weirdies books are “oh, darn, is it OVER???? Nooooo!!! Is there another? “
books. Charming Brilliantly read (how Ever did they score Kate Winslet? she’s the perfect reader for these! )
Perhaps not a great child rearing instructional guide … but a fun fun fun read!

The book is fun nonsense, but one of the “extras” is solid FOX-politic promotion

The book was fun nonsense. The second in the series for me.

But be forewarned one of the “extras” … while gently teasing the Fox-favorite …
echos the nastiest of Fox attacks about Fox-non-favorites.

I’m sure the author would try to claim,
“I poked at both sides…”
but … yeah, no

Of course, YMMV
If you are a Fox-fan, buy all of this author’s books … in fact buy eleven copies of each …

For me, it’s enough to make me hesitate about whether I’d enjoy any additional of his series.

The writing is wonderful, the performance is an excellent augmentation of the writing.

There is a sense of it being aimed at a younger reader … which I not … and I found the whole book delightful. Well played laugh-out-loud in my car moments as well as many ‘let me back that up and enjoy that turn of a phrase again’ times.

I’ll be watching for more in this series and from this author.

A captivating read. I saw the season One of the TV series first … and, for me, the book filled out the video … and the video filled out the book. Definitely do both!

Lemme say this right off the top... Kenny is a drummer, not a narrator ...
but you get used to his speech patterns
With that said... He was the perfect choice to narrate his own book ... you not only get the story,
you get a real sense of the guy ...himself.
This is a great trip through the intensity and the business of Music Professional
Well worth the read.

I could not for the life of me give a friend a description of the story line here, and have them say, "Oh,,you'd Love that"
But .. I got captivated by the characters and the good solid psychological insights into each of them.
Loved the book.
Hated when it was done. (Nothing wrong with the ending ... just it came way sooner than I wanted it to.)

I will look for other books by Jane L Rosen
(and will keep my eye out for narrations by Lisa Flanagan)

That's sort of my highest praise ... when it's "I'd like more of that, please..."

Middle-School Improve with some great History info

If you've always dreamed of your History Professor being randomly interrupted by the local middle school Improve group, dashing in, trying out the various accents they play with in front of their mirror or tried once and thought they sounded cool with it ... then dashing out again...
as 'filler' for otherwise very interesting History information
Or if you'd just feel great that a bunch of people who like doing improv ... got to get hired for this gig
You'll Love This Presentation ...
otherwise ... I'll say ..
Excellently well curated history with a solid story-line that puts the pieces in place ... and you'll get to where you can listen past the goofy 'filler' stuff. I really can't decide if the author didn't think they had enough material to fill out the book, or if they just saw a chance to get their "theatre" friends a gig ...
But the historical information, how they carried the story thread through. and the level of research they reference from are all excellent...
and who doesn't appreciate a producer who grabs at any chance they can find to give the local theater kids a gig?.

Good story. Carried me right through, was sorry when it was winding up to close. Great sense of the language and dialect. Characters are well created … villain so well written as to make me clench my teeth … really got under my skin.
The reader is superb, giving life to the text and the soeach patterns of each character … which in one case is quite a gift.
Well worth the read.
