I don't think this book works as well as the alcohol book, but it was effective enough to get the job done. Just keep an open mind when you start AND jtlyk you are instructed to keep smoking all you want while you read\listen to the book.

more than just easy, it's the only way outside of AA
Reviewed: 10-10-22
this book is not just the easiest way, for me it was the only way. because I've known for a long time there had to be something better than AA. nothing against a I know they've helped a lot of people but it didn't result in me stopping by drinking. one of the key reasons I picked up this book was that I heard that you could keep drinking and in fact are encouraged not to cut down or try to quit until you finish the book. now keep in mind he does state that you can't be drunk while you're reading it. I just finished and I look forward to live without alcohol. Allen Carr explains all the brainwashing that's been done to you and how to erase it . it's not complicated and it's not difficult but you do have to follow his instructions all of which are simple there's nothing crazy or embarrassing or ridiculous or hard that you have to do other than read the book in order follow the instructions in order don't skip anything and keep an open mind. thank you God above for putting Allen Carr on this planet and allowing him to spread this message to help all who seek it.

Story
In President Me, Carolla shares his vision for a different, better America free from big issues like big government down to small problems like hotel alarm clock placement. Running on an anti-narcissism platform, President Carolla calls for a return to the values of an earlier time when stew and casserole were on every dinner table and there were no “service dogs” on airplanes. President Me hits right at the heart of what makes our country really annoying, and offers a plan to make all of our lives, but mostly Adam’s, much better.

Adam rips parenthood a new one, telling it straight about what adults must do if they don't want to have to support their kids forever. Using his own crappy childhood as a cautionary tale, and touting the pitfalls of the kind of helicopter parenting so pervasive today, Daddy, Stop Talking is the only parenting book you should ever read.

Nobody should be going to college immediately after high school. They should be taking a two year road trip across the country to find out who they are and what they want out of life instead. But still, every year we send millions of inexperienced 18-year-olds down a path of debt, worthless degrees, poor employment prospects, commonness and misery. The results are two full generations of adults who wasted decades of their lives chasing dreams that would never come true.
