Heard about this book on a Joe Rogan podcast with Nicki Glaser and had to buy it. I’ve wanted to quit drinking for years but the idea of putting faith in a higher power and going to meetings was not something I was interested in. I just finished the book and already feel like I have changed my life for good and that I can now get on with living an enjoyable life. Years of drinking are all behind me and now I have no excuse to not do all the wonderful things I was putting off.
I have read/listened to hundreds of books and this is the only time I’ve ever felt compelled to leave a review. You are instructed in the book to keep drinking until you’ve finished the book and after taking my time through the first half, by the second half I could not wait to get to the end so that I could stop drinking.
Well written, great performance, entertaining and totally enjoyable, all while being life-changing. Makes me want to listed to his other books even though I don’t smoke, over eat and my life was somewhat put-together. Thank you Allen Carr!!

I didn't have a problem (I thought). I may have had a hangover a couple times a week. Sometimes (3 or 4 times a week), I shared a nice bottle of wine. I never planned to wit. But I have. Easily. Since then, I've been the most joyous and happy since my youth. Thank you, Allen Carr.

Its one thing to “know” your personal truths about this topic, but to have someone observe the mass of alcoholics or individual case studies only to show we are all experiencing the same pain.
I was under the impression that my alcoholism was based off genetics and having alcoholic parents but I’ve been informed on my next journey.
