Story
Nora Stephens' life is books—she’s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. In fact, the only people Nora is a heroine for are her clients, for whom she lands enormous deals as a cutthroat literary agent, and her beloved little sister Libby.

Story
Who could forget the sexy "Cherry Pie" girl from hair metal band Warrant's infamous music video? Bobbie Brown became a bona fide vixen for her playful role as the object of lead singer Jani Lane's desires. With her windblown peroxide mane, seductive scarlet lips, and flirtatious curves, she epitomized every man's fantasy. But the wide-eyed Louisiana beauty queen's own dreams of making it big in Los Angeles were about to be derailed by her rock-and-roll lifestyle.

warrant was my favorite band, and heaven is still my fav song of all time. jani lane was my teen crush and I was fortunate enough to see him at the whisky long after they were popular. I was front row and his cigarette burnt my finger. I envied Bobbi brown back then and after reading this book, I learned there was nothing to envy. she lived a sad life, Learned hard lessons and the rock and roll world I thought I had a clue about was much more shallow and perverse than I ever expected. This was a fascinating read, because you would think a girl like this would have her pick off any man and would not need to sleep with many guys, but she, just like any insecure girl or woman felt the need to seek love through sex not feeling value enough in her whole self not just her face. Its such a shame that there was not any guy to come along and just love her for everything she was and not her face and body. THis is why gorgeous girls have it rough sometimes and why rock stars never feel like they're loved for anything more than their fame or fortune. eye opening and I'm thankful for her honesty so people can learn that Hollywood photos where everyone's smiling is all bs. These people were hiding addiction, Heartache, overindulging promiscuous spoiled brats that really never have much of a chance of living a normal life once they become a certain level of famous without a strong foundation of family and friends in place before they get to that level.
I hope she finds real love one day. but tbh I'm shocked at what a bitch it made her from the sweet pageant girl she left Louisiana as, but it sounds like she came full circle with a cynical suitcase in tow 20+ years later. I always say society overlooks the difficulty of the fall from a pedestal for beautiful women who are valued for their looks and then once they lose them they feel stripped of their identity and have to reinvent who they truly are when they need to be someone other than the Beautiful girl to feel special or valued. it's a hard long fall off that pedestal one that girls who are never considered Beautiful understand, because they've already established their identities long ago based on intelligence, humor, kindness, character and had to get by on hard work, education, etc.. SOCIETY makes life easy for gorgeous girls and doesn't let them down easy.

I've never loved a book series more. I am a total groupie now and I would pay 5 times this to read every book in this series. I can't get enough. It boggles my mind how people can not like this, if you don't maybe you just don't like romance... or you're in the wrong genre.

When Pestilence comes for Sara Burn’s town, one thing is certain: everyone she knows and loves is marked for death. Unless, of course, the angelic-looking horseman is stopped, which is exactly what Sara has in mind when she shoots the unholy beast off his steed. Too bad no one told her Pestilence can’t be killed. Now the horseman, very much alive and very pissed off, has taken her prisoner, and he’s eager to make her suffer. Only, the longer she’s with him, the more uncertain she is about his true feelings towards her, and hers towards him. And now, well, Sara might still be able to save the world, but in order to do so, she'll have to sacrifice her heart in the process.

I didn't finish only because it isn't a romance
Reviewed: 04-13-21
About 5 half way through this book I was really excited for the series ahead and I'm honestly kinda bummed ... the triangle between Two characters had me concerned so i googled who she ends up with and find out this isn't a happily ever after with one guy book.... so I'm out. no interest in books where the character is hooking up with new people in every book.
thought it was a romance novel based in fantasy.

Story
The first time I met Hudson Rothschild was at a wedding. I’d received an unexpected invitation to one of the swankiest venues in the city. Hudson was a groomsman and quite possibly the most gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on. He asked me to dance, and our chemistry was off the charts. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to get involved with him, considering the wedding I was at. But our connection was intense, and I was having a great time. Though the fun came to a screeching halt when Hudson figured out I wasn’t who I’d said I was.
