About this listen

In this book you will learn how to get a meeting with anyone. You will learn how to take your career to the next level. You will learn how to reinvent yourself in ways that you never thought were possible! Chris Haroun is a successful venture capitalist and an award-winning MBA professor and has had the opportunity in his career to meet with the top CEOs, entrepreneurs, and investors in the world, including Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Marc Benioff, and the CEOs of most large technology companies. This book is an amalgamation of business advice that Chris has compiled from his many meetings with successful business people over the past two decades as well as observations of why brilliant entrepreneurs like Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg have become incredibly successful. Such a great book! I was totally pulled into the book and listened it all of it in one sitting. I stopped it many times and repeated certain lines that stuck out to me. I took notes and really enjoyed the concept of hire slowly and fire quickly. Thanks Chris! I also purchased his MBA program and I am excited to get started on that.

I absorbed this book via Audible and found the Author's self-narration very genuine. If you can get past his repeating expressions, you will find much of what he says very insightful. My mid 20s self would have also been inspired. Worth every penny.

A hodge podge of information

What made the experience of listening to 101 Crucial Lessons They Don't Teach You in Business School the most enjoyable?

The book gave a good overview of some great business tips. It also did so succinctly without wasting my time. Some tips did seem to be filler content just so the author could reach "101" tips.

Any additional comments?

The content was good but the constant references to his online courses were irritating. If it weren't for these constant "plugs" I would likely be interested in seeking out the author's other offerings but listening to these plugs was like having commercials in a book which was frustrating.

Good Tips, too many shameless plugs
