Maybe it’s my fault. As a widower I spoiled her - Jolene was reading over my shoulder just now and says that’s not true. She claims Rachel ruined everything. But that’s not true. The real question is: How can I get my wife back? I don’t even know where she is. She’s not with Teri Polgar or any of her other friends from the salon. I must compliment the writing skills of this author, and the deliverance of the novel given by the narrator. However, throughout the book there is a casual attitude of promiscuity which I do not endorse or enjoy in recreation or entertainment. There are no overt sexual scenes, at least to the point where I stop reading the novel, it's just the matter-of-fact attitudes that I saw displayed in the personal relationships. But then, I am a prude. Others may really enjoy this book.

The book is like a soap opera, day to day life good and bad times. I enjoyed the book it had me up and down with so many emotions. I would highly recommend it

HAPPY ENDING ARE ALWAYS GOOD

I really enjoyed the Cedar Cove series (obviously I’m late to it). But this book primarily centered on the Peyton family (Rachel, Bruce and Jolene). Bruce is weak and Jolene is a teenage brat and I found their parts so painful I wanted to scream. Rachel has the patience of Job, but I found it hard to stomach. I enjoyed all the other books in the series much more than this one.
