About this listen

It will be the happiest day of her life....

Carlotta Wren has been looking forward to her wedding day since she was a little girl, and she wants it to be perfect. But even as she plans a blowout wedding, she has other worries on her mind.

In the process of trying to prove her former coworker was murdered, she may have stumbled onto a coverup with national implications - not to mention learning she’s blood related to someone with whom she has, um, unpleasant history.

If she lives long enough to say I DO!

And while she’s pledged her hand to one man, another man is dogging her heels, and her heart. She has the perfect dress, the perfect ring...and the perfect man? If only she could see into the future....

As Carlotta closes in on a murderer, she realizes she’s in the crosshairs of some powerful people who want her dead - if planning the wedding doesn’t kill her first!

Another great story to long haul too, I just rate books so I don't lose my place in the series.

A+

Great book for the most part but like most said, it wrapped up too quickly. I really think the author rushed this one. I mean the end was downright mean and Carlotta just would never disregard someone's feelings so much that she would go off and do what she did without addressing the other situation. Idk I really loved the series and the characters and I'm sad it's over, so maybe some of it is I just wanted everyone fully flushed out and no one I liked that heartbroken without closure.

Great book for the most part...

I have truly enjoyed all of the twist and turns throughout the years while following Carlotta and friends.
12 bodies and a Wedding is the absolute best out of the whole lineup!
Well worth the read.
I don’t want to give anything away. Enjoy!

Finished this book in 3 days through audible. I had read 1-11 over the last 8 or so months renting them from the library as e books but the library didn't carry book 12! this book is fun, light hearted, page turning beach read.

one of my favorite series

Never have I felt so intwined in a story. Love how this series is sprinkled in other amazing stories by Stephanie Bond. Still stunned on how it ended. Looking forward to reading
/listening to more Bond books.
Narrations are spot on❤️ will look for more Maureen Jones audiobooks.

Fantastic series

I could not be more disappointed with this series ending this way (if it isn't the last book in the series it's the last for me). I don't want to spoil anything, but the characters are far better than this.

Unwelcome Twist

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

By the end of this volume, the main character, Carlota (whom I had grown to love), was incredibly dislikeable. She was insincere and devolved into a self-centered narcissist. A couple of storylines were so abruptly wrapped up that they were either unbelievable or left questions unanswered. The ending of the overall story arc was loathsome. I am left disgusted and thoroughly disappointed.

Disappointing, then blew it with the ending.
