About this listen

When Feyre kills a wolf, a beastlike creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a magical land, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal. As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it....

You can skip it

It was rather eventless and boring. A recap on how everyone is doing and feeling and very little has changed. I also agree with the comments that the focus on Feyre and Rhysand becomes repetitive now after so many books and other characters should take the spotlight.

A Christmas Special

Literally nothing happens, but I guess you'll still read it if you're reading the series.

nothibg happend

Not very interesting. Nothing really happend. Would however recommend if you want romantic scenes, gift shopping and repetition of what's already happend in the previous books.

Relaxing intermezzo about simple beauties of life

It was refreshing to read a short, simple and nice novel after the big emotional moments of the third book. It felt good to get lost in everyday matters and follow the characters life for a short while in a peaceful period. I would not skip it - it’s a nice reminder of the beauties and joys we can find every day.

This was an okay filler book

Just an filler book. It's an okay story, something to change and cleanse the mind from the first books.

In love forever

I loved it! Everything, the story, the narrator, the world. I loved everything about this book. Except, maybe, that it ended.

Refreshing

Refreshing story after the war. All characters are preparing for holidays and are concluding the aftermath of the war. The only trouble is Nesta. I thought that at the end of previous book she was improving the relationship with everyone. Now it is a big step back.
I like this book and recommend this light reading.

The short and sweet pallet cleanser of the series

Nothing wrong with how it's written, except it's much shorter and not much happens during this book, as opposed to the previous books in the series

What a delightful novella!

Sarah J. Maas is truly the most generous author out there! She could have easily let us stew until she’d dropped the next book in a Throne of Glass series, but no. We have this wonderful tale to keep us satiated until then. She is undoubtedly my favorite author of this decade!
