Publisher's summary

A tender addition to the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin and upcoming audiobooks.

Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve.

Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated-scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.

A Court of Frost and Starlight explores the far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends.

Performed by Melody Muze, Anthony Palmini, Colleen Delany, Jon Vertullo, Amanda Forstrom, Shawn K. Jain, Nora Achrati, Karenna Foley, Gabriel Michael, Natalie Van Sistine, Eva Wilhelm, Henry W. Kramer, Bianca Bryan, Renee Dorian, Matthew Bassett, Rob McFadyen, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, Yasmin Tuazon, Matthew Schleigh, Nanette Savard, Dan Delgado, Michael John Casey, Alejandro Ruiz, and Samantha Cooper.

Full of heartwarming moments

I know people say that you can skip this book because not much happens, but I am sooooo glad I didn’t skip it! I loved every moment of the solstice vibes and how giddy I felt when opening presents like I was actually in the room with them. I also love that SJM wrote this book because it gives time to step back and let you see their normal lives without all the bloodshed. DO NOT SKIP THIS BOOK!!!

The whole thing was amazing.

The background music is not overwhelming at all. It’s meant to be a movie in your mind. And theres always background music in movies. I loved it and can’t wait for Silver Flames to come out on GA. 😍

If you don't like it on your first read...

This is a cute filler book by itself, but I didn't enjoy it at all the first time I read it. Now that I've read more from the Maasverse it became more fun because of all the crumbs she leaves.

Loved it!

I think everyone did a great job, I just wished it was easier to hear Rhysand’s POV. I had to disconnect from Bluetooth every time because it sounded so muffled, I could only barely understand it if it was playing from my phone

Great filler.

Was it a filler? Yes, Did I care...No.. lol. I'm sure there will be bits of this that come back for the next book, but even if we're just getting a better look at the characters that's great too.

What was that?

Okay so it goes like this for me. Book 1- awesome got me hooked, loved it and what can compare?
Book 2- dreadful until halfway through or more. Loved the end and got me excited for the next. Book 3- BRAVOOOO FINALLY something comparable to book 1. Kept me on my toes and ugh so good. Book 4- wud did I just read? I get that it’s a filler book but it was dreadful in my opinion. Boring and literally NOTHING happens, I’m thinking to myself… either she’s run out of ideas and lost her muse or she wants to bore me almost to death so that book five knocks me off my socks. I truly hope it’s the latter. Anyways… I think my mistake is buying the dramatized versions on book 2 and 4 when they are dreadfully boring. So book 5 I am struggling to decide whether to get the dramatized one or the regular one. I want it so badly to be good. I’m going to look at the reviews and decide from there, my god I hope book five has more to offer. Boring was an understatement. I get that people love these characters and it’s a nice little book… but coming from Crescent city and the fourth wing… it just didn’t hit. I’m sorry Acotar lovers this book was a bomb. A bomb that has no fuse

Ughhhh

I am obsessed with the ACOTAR series but this book was just a little underwhelming for her. Compared to the action, love, and family packed the last few books were. I love at the end for Feyre got to open up her own art studio. The book made me end with way more question than I started with I will say like why is Nesta distant, what was Cass’s gift to Nesta, and so many more. I can’t wait to read the last book of the series! 🧚🏔️

The different voices and background noise

I loved how the voices matched the characters it made the simple story so interesting.
