About this listen

Charles
I have a great family, a successful career, and never struggle to find the company of a man when I want it, and I do—often. The loss of my brother years ago is the one dark spot in an otherwise perfect life. But at forty-three, my world suddenly feels emptier than it should. Something’s missing. I don’t know what it is…or how I think I’ll find it spending a summer in a small town in North Carolina.

Brian
I’ve spent my life in love with the woman who married my brother. When they passed, I raised their son, living with the guilt of my feelings. Now, at forty-eight, I’m used to being alone. Until I meet Charles.

I’ve never known someone like him—a wealthy, confident city man I shouldn’t have anything in common with. He’s determined to be friends. We play music together, spend our nights talking in ways I’ve never done. I look forward to seeing him—and to those innocent touches that make me crave more.

I don’t experience attraction the way most folks do, but as our friendship grows, I can’t deny I want him. It’s my first time with a man. Every brush of his skin against mine makes me feel things I hadn’t thought possible. I didn’t know intimacy could be like this. I could spend a lifetime kissing him, but for us to have any chance at a future, we’ll both have to face truths we’ve tried to ignore for too long.

A Lifetime Kissing You is a small-town, opposites-attract romance with first times, lots of touch, and a love of music.

This book deals with past loss of a loved one, anxiety and panic attacks. Please check the content warning at the beginning of the book for more information.

Lover it!

This was my favorite romance I read in 2023. I’ve been waiting 6 months for this audiobook to come out and so the moment it did I snatched it up real quick. Nick does an amazing job narrating like always. Loved it!!!

Welcome to Ryland !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This low-angst , small town , opposites attrack romance is perfect! The story is engaging with well developed characters that are compelling and emotional ...real like! One of the best series to date by this author! Absolutely outstanding performance by Nick J Russo !!

So good

I really enjoyed this book and its characters. The fact that even after Charles and Brian got together there was still a good part of the story left. I get so tired of authors finally getting them together and then that’s it. I liked that they could recognize the other was struggling but couldn’t seem to figure themselves out. Their dynamic is so different. They were raised very differently and yet they work to build a life together. This was a good one! Love this author!!!

One of the Sweetest Couples

I loved how much Charles was able to draw Brian out of his shell and I loved how much Brian gave Charles of himself. These men had their struggles and it was beautiful how they leaned on each other through it all.

Amazing story amplified by amazing performance

I've enjoyed this entire series but I think this last one "A Lifetime of Kissing You" will always hold a special place in my heart. I don't have high anxiety like him but thanks to Nick J. Russo I felt I was locked down with Brian, trapped in the horrible sensations of a panic attack. What I do truly feel similar to Brian is his sexuality. But I think he is more pansexual then a demisexual - but the first thing they tell you is no one else can tell you or define your sexuality. I just think he is pan because the gender of the person doesn't matter so much as he has a strong connection with the person themselves. I'm a straight female who has only been attracted to men sexually but when there is a close connection so I identify myself as demi. I was so happy that Brian met someone who took the time to understand him - who truly wanted to understand him. The first love scenes were painfully awkward for me because I knew and felt what Brian was going through; how he kept losing the physical connection with Charles because his mind kept going somewhere else or his insecurities would crop up just as his arousal would start to rise. Unfortunately unless someone is willing to take the time and effort to work with a demi or someone of the other Ace spectrum sexualities then many will go their whole lives without ever experiencing a strong sexual connection with another person. I think I've gravitated to more LGBTQ romance books (mostly M/M) because the authors address the different spectrums of sexuality that I wasn't getting in mainstream M/F romance. All the men have to do is be a handsome dominant -in too many cases a billionaire- smack the heroines butt a few times and she gets wet and ready to orgasm...never the case with me. Maybe if I actually meet a billionaire? 🤔 Who knows!? Anywho, sexuality stuff aside, I loved this book a lot, but no surprise because Riley Hart is the author with Nick at the helm. I really loved the scene near the end when Charles and Brian sang their song for Charles' birthday.

5 stars - I would listen again

All the Feels Here!

Charles and Brian are just so real I cannot even explain the intensity of how drawn into their different personalities yet similar emotional struggles I was while listening. Their romance made my heart ache and then feel so full. Nick's narration brought out every intimate feeling. Brian's need for a strong and trusted connection to another to open up physically was beautifully represented. Their love story is fun, a little angsty, sensual and comfortable. All the hearts and stars for this one!

Amazing end to the series!

I’ve been waiting for this audiobook for months! I loved reliving the story again, it’s so beautiful. I love how patient Charles is with Brian. Of course the narration by Nick J Russo was spectacular! He is one of my favorites.

Felt like I was in 7th grade science class…

You know those educational videos they showed us in school in science class in the US when our teachers were hungover or just done with life, and the narrator was joyfully describing the process of digestion like we should be really excited about it? That’s how Nick Russo’s narration of Charles sounds in this audio. I kept waiting for him to start talking about the miracle of molecules or the wonder of the nervous system.

Besides that, he did great for Brian and when any emotion was shown. The story itself didn’t hold up from my first eyeball read but I am still happy to read Brian’s HEA.
