About this listen

Beth Gallatin has always wanted to settle down in one town, with one man, and raise a family. But with her father's roaming ways, she found solace in reading romances instead. The passing of her father, however, means that Beth and her sisters can, for the first time, dare to claim the rugged Montana frontier as their home.

Nick Lassiter has loved Beth since she first came to town, but she's always seemed to think of him more as a brother. Just when he finally gets Beth to consider him, an unexpected arrival from Nick's complicated past threatens the affection growing between them.

As a past fraught with unwise choices and guilt invades their world, will Nick and Beth find the courage to embrace love?

Good book; So-so narrator

I really liked this book. It's nice to hear so many references to the Bible. Some Christian books don't do that much. It's good that it's important to Tracie Peterson. I did not like the narrator. She was good when just reading the descriptions, but the voices were horrible. They weren't consistant, all the men sounded as if they were hoarse and losing their voices, the girls were just bad. I wish this had been the narrator that did part 1.

Great store Horrible narrator

I really liked the store, as always Tracie Peterson has done a very inspirational story.
The narrator on the hand was horrible, and really needs to work on the way she dose the reading. You might want to get the book.

Beth's Story

This is the second book in the series of Brides of Gallatin County. This book is very enjoyable, however I would have enjoyed it more if Lacy's story would have been told instead of having a 3rd book. This book is about Beth and how she over comes her fears. It is very interesting and uplifting. It causes you to focus more on God. You also receive more clues as to who killed their father, but that answer is not until book 3. I was hoping that this book told both lacy's and Beth's story as well as finished telling the mystery of what really happened the night their father was killed. It is very enjoyable read and I recommend reading it before moving on to book 3. Book 1: A promise to believe in Book (Quinn) 2: A love to last forever (Beth) Book 3: A dream to call my own (Lacy)
