About this listen

Carrie Brooks left her home, her job, her very existence, to run away with a murder suspect, a man whose only prior introduction to her was as her kidnapper. She has no reason at all to trust him. After all, he’s the enemy—isn’t he?

Felipe Salazar’s been in disguise for so long, he’s not even sure who he is anymore. But he knows two things: he’s innocent. And he’s waited all his life for someone like Carrie....

Good story but it keeps mentioning the accent of lead male character. however the narrator never even attempts to adopt his "sound" of Hispanic accent. Story looses a lot.

Also the ending is abrupt and disappointing.

poor naration

Would you consider the audio edition of A Man to Die For to be better than the print version?

no

What did you like best about this story?

Its classic Brockman characters and fast action

What didn’t you like about Blair Windsor’s performance?

She is almost monotoned, breathy, and overly "gushy"....no comparison to the job done by Patrick Lawler and Melanie Ewebank

Good book, reader not so much

The story line is too basic and juvenile and the narrator should consider going back to narrator school. Pretty boring! This book was not worth the $$ I spent on it.

Not good
