Beau does it again

The book was OK, but I did not like the performance. Out of all context, the reader started yelling. Also, his staccato reading was pretty annoying.

A less than perfect book

JP did it again.

Love It... The character works very hard at what he does. Sometimes there is a good cop. One that will help. We need more..........

Yep, He Got The Bad Guys!!!!!!

I love that Beau makes mistakes, falls and keeps going. Far from perfect but able to keep going and get better.

Imperfect Hero

Narrator needs to work on accents. How many people in Seattle have thick southern accents?

good story not so much for narrator

This is definitely a good listen. Fast paced and there are more twists and turns than your best roller coaster. If you want a book to take your mind off that long drive to the office or grandma’s house, this will fill the bill.

Definately a more perfect book!

Where does A More Perfect Union rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

While some are better the others, the JP Beaumont series has to rank in my top 100 listens. I particularly enjoyed this one. If you're feeling like an easy laid back listen that is entertaining with a bit of mystery, suspense to and sex to give it just enough spice then this series is for you. I usually have a JP Beaumont, in between my other reads to clean and refresh my palate. Just keep coming JP.........

Who was your favorite character and why?

No other than JP himself. He's so laconic. I'm a bit concerned about the enlarged liver, though! Does this means he has to give up drinking soon?

Have you listened to any of Gene Engene’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Gene is JP. I could not imagine anyone else attempting JP.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Pretty well. I think I only had one break.

Any additional comments?

J A Jance, keep them coming forever. I'll never tire of JP Beaumont.

J P Does it again!

I really enjoyed that narrator andvisibility to do a lot of different voices well. There was a lot of background noise that sounded like there was a room full of people. Mostly the problem I had with this book was although I read it and read it and re read it I still don't get the criminal activity aspect of it. I never understood who the bad guys were and why.

great narrator
