About this listen
Many tens of thousands of parents have found the facts they need about high-functioning autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including Asperger's syndrome, in this indispensable guide. Leading experts show how you can work with your child's unique impairments—and harness his or her capabilities.
Vivid stories and real-world examples illustrate ways to help kids with ASD relate more comfortably to peers, learn the rules of appropriate behavior, and succeed in school. You'll learn how ASD is diagnosed and what treatments and educational supports really work. Updated with the latest research and resources, the second edition clearly explains the implications of the DSM-five diagnostic changes.

The MANipulator manual. Keep your man interested and begging for more without playing games. So many women get in trouble in their love lives, and 99.9 percent of that trouble could have been avoided if they'd said "Well, f**k him!" a bit more often. Too many women are way too nice and compliant to their men, especially when these men don't deserve that kind of treatment. Story
Autism therapy typically focuses on ridding individuals of “autistic” symptoms such as difficulties interacting socially, problems in communicating, sensory challenges, and repetitive behavior patterns. Now Dr. Barry M. Prizant offers a new and compelling paradigm: The most successful approaches to autism don’t aim at fixing a person by eliminating symptoms, but rather seeking to understand the individual’s experience and what underlies the behavior. Rather than curb these behaviors, it’s better to enhance abilities, build on strengths, and offer supports.

Great for introduction into the ASD world
As the mother of a child who was recently diagnosed with ASD, I felt lost and alone and didn’t know where to turn. I joined an autism support group on Facebook and came to Audible and downloaded a bunch of books. This one is, by far, my favorite. It answered all my questions and provided great tips for me to use in my daily life as well as in the future. I recommend this book for all parents who are struggling to understand how to best help their child with ASD. Good luck to you all! <3
