About this listen

Who needs a man? They're nothing but a distraction. A disappointment.

They sweep you off your feet, promise you forever. Then, as soon as another beautiful woman shows them interest, they leave you crying alone on the sidewalk with your dreams of a life together crushed.

And the sexy playboy who keeps showing up everywhere I go is the definition of distraction and inevitable disappointment. I can live without that heartbreak. I have everything I need to make me happy - a job, school, friends, and family that I love.

Yep. Mind made up. It's just a shame my heart didn't get the memo.

Contains mature themes.

If took a while for me to get truly hooked but once I did it’s really good

The reality of life , hurt , death and betrayal

The trend I don’t like and I am not alone!!!!!! Stop using other narrators for different characters, it’s confusing! Just use one or two and stop having one character performing one and the male character reads the others. Stop! It doesn’t work

I loved the story line and character, loved the book

Now this is a story that is more believeable with a wealthy main character. I have heard others but the form how they meet and the relationship builds is so relatable that you can picture that meet cute. I loved the narrator she did do a good job. the guy comes out at the end. I did like how the villain was dealt with but the others involvement was shocking. I definitely recommend this book!!

Just hear it!

Kinda old school when the dominating alpha, but was able to keep that in context overall. The narration was bland and it’s only the female narrating. Seemed like there was a lot extra to the story, especially in the beginning, that wasn’t really needed to make the book. Going to listen to part two because I need to know what happens now ha

It’s just ok

I am so loving this read so far. What a cliff hanger! Ava is so me! She is such a good character! They are opposites! He is rich and powerful... she is just a normal waitress. He is so obsessive over her. He has a crazy X and her best friend is a guy that I think has a hidden love for her. He has a crazy shared story with his x that just won't let him let her go. Ava had enough and broke it off with him and is leaving to California. The story is getting good... I can't wait to start book 2.

OBSESSIVE JACKSON

Not enough of the background characters story mingling with the main characters. The main man comes off as a jerk and we are supposed to “ want” him to win her over at the end …
And the way it was left was beyond anything I imaged it would be, and not in a good way.
Wasted my time, should have canned the book sooner.

Over all … meh ….

I didn’t like one POV so this one was false advertisement. Yes Tim Page did read but ONLY the epilogue. Hence false advertisement. This title was part of my membership. Thank goodness for that

Not dual POV

This novel seems more of a high school story line. It was more of the women talking verse equal parts

Nothing to much
