About this listen

In the early 1900’s Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson retired, recently his older brother Mycroft Holmes passed away, distraught, Sherlock found his feelings unbearable. Though his friend Dr. Watson tried to help consul his loss. One morning the newspaper claimed that it was Mycroft and not Sherlock that solved many of his most famous cases. Unable to stand for such insults Holmes and Watson took a case in Oxford where they hired a fine young lady, Miss Rachel Adams. When she is abducted Holmes and Watson return to solve one last great case and to prove their critics wrong, but the world has moved on and Sherlock is not the invincible famous detective. To solve the case and see justice he must defeat a great villain and the amnesia of a whole city that has forgotten him.
