About this listen

A mystery ship, an ancient stone necklace, and a journey that defies time....

AJ Moore's life crumbled with the unexpected death of her beloved father and mentor. Her reporting career stalled, her love-life non-existent, and a family filled with more conflict than love, she relies on her best friend to survive cheerless days in the small town of Bayside, Oregon.

When a 200-year-old ship materializes through the fog, inspiration strikes. AJ sets out to unravel its mystery, but her investigation is hampered by the ship's single passenger - the enigmatic sea captain.

AJ's fiery relationship with the captain deepens to a passion she never thought possible, distracting her from a mysterious obsession plaguing those around her. Their pursuit of an ancient stone necklace curiously points in her direction.

The hunt for one simple story will forever change AJ's life and throw her into a journey that reshapes everything she knew about herself. An adventure that will teach her that life isn't about goals and career. It's about family, loyalty, and trust. Finding love was purely accidental.

Join AJ on an adventure where honor and friendship can beat the odds. And where love transcends time.

"Time travel with unique twists and many layers...."

Note: A Stone in Time contains cliff-hangers, as AJ and Finn's primary journey continues in Keeper of Stones. The first chapter can be found at the end of A Stone in Time. Enjoy the adventure.

Interesting but…

The book held my attention but was slow. I will not read the rest of the series.

Good story but not riveting. Took a while...

Just ok for me. To many questions, not enough answers. Kind of slow I'd say.

Slow to develop

It’s an ok story but it really drags. It could have been one book and it would have been better. There aren’t enough historic details to drag the story out like this. And to add to my frustration the next two books aren’t available on Audible. I feel cheated!

seemed to take too long!

I know this was book one but it took too long to get to the point. I had rewind a lot to get back to the storyline. The only time travel was in the last one hour of the book and I almost stopped listening. I might get to book two now she's actually travelled, but I'm in no hurry. one other annoying thing, an American doing an English accents is cringworthy. this English accent was so bad, mostly because I am English and.it was painful.

Thank you for the fb post from author.

This was a just by chance scrolling on FB when I came across the author I never stumbled upon yet, who shared it. I am a novel dragon trucker who loves creative writing, especially when they keep my left door shut. What a remarkable storyline, unlike any other time traveling novel, that's for sure. I already purchased novel #2 for tomorrow's 11hr drives. Great work.
The narrator has ALSO pre-read and obviously done her homework. She gets the voices, attitude and sound level of the characters even after she speaks it, and then speaks the verbiage how Author detailed it. Talk about teamwork.
I definitely recommend this novel.
