About this listen

Shadow people are some of the most mysterious entities in the known universe, and Mike Ricksecker has experienced many, starting with a tall, dark humanoid figure that appeared in his room as a child. While examining who or what these dark beings may actually be and sharing the ominous experiences of several others, Ricksecker recounts his interactions with shadows, which also include a black mass that formed in a bedroom where a girl had seen an entity with red eyes, a crawler that crept its way around an abandoned desecrated church, and many more.

A Walk in the Shadows addresses these tantalizing questions:

  • What are the different types of shadow people and their characteristics?
  • What's the relationship between shadow people and sleep paralysis?
  • Are shadow entities interdimensional beings or, perhaps, players in a simulated universe?
  • Are shadow people evil, or have they been miscast as the darkest of the dark in the supernatural realm?
  • Are some shadow people actually extraterrestrials?
  • What does a renowned demonologist with nearly 50 years of experience have to say about shadow entities?

A Walk in the Shadows explores the secrets of the dark while unveiling an enigmatic world feared by many and misunderstood by most.

Explores lots of theories. An interesting read

It got pretty repetitive at times, but I enjoyed the plethora of theories and personal stories shared. the author doesn't push any views but explores multiple reasons for occurrences.

Topics

Trapped souls wandering between dimensions, bring these shadowy figures to light, removing the fear and the darkness, finally giving a voice to those who do not speak. Shadow people have been a mystery for centuries and no one has put together an analysis of them.

Informative

Ive been into ghosts, spirits and shaddow figures all my life. Recently I have been seeing, hearing and some have been invading my dreams. I had something invade my dream and I wanted to see if this book my have some insight to what it may had been. Unfortunately it didnt give any insight to what was in my dream but did inform me and help me understand that not all shadow figures are bad, to me they scared the living shit out of me because they are really unknown. My work has a lot of spiritual energy and there is a lot of noises, laughter, humming, footsteps and paranormal activity in general. I have yet to see a shaddow figure at work though. I work in a Pediatric Psychiatric facility and there is just a lot of paranormal activity. And this book has helped me realize that its not all evil spirits. It was also very intresting hearing that Valak from the Conjuring wasn’t actually a nun. 100% recommend this book if you are looking into the supernatural or want to learn more avoid shaddow people or ghosts!

Not sure what I wanted from this book but didn’t find it

Shadow beings are fascinating, this book is not. Feels like he tries to dumb down, over explain or apologize for everything he says into a very polite “uh, maybe, we don’t know.” This would have been better as a tweet.

Misses the Mark

I am really interested in the subject. I think there might have been some interesting content, but I couldn't get past the cadence and dryness of the performance.
