Publisher's summary

Drawing from his extensive experience in assisting with cases of demonic oppression and possession, in The Exorcism Files, Adam Blai presents listeners with enlightening true stories and traces their causation. Whether people provided a gateway through Ouija boards or tarot cards, Blai reports from firsthand observation how they were lured into the occult.

Blai also recounts shocking cases of participation in covens and cults under the guise of knowledge, empowerment, and liberation. This is sometimes accompanied by crimes and hauntings, which Blai also documents. An essential guide for our time, The Exorcism Files reveals numerous striking truths about the supernatural, including: the key signs of diabolic possession—and how they differ from those of oppression; how dabbling in the occult opens the door to evil; why the devil most intently attacks priestly and religious vocations; how evil can manifest itself in physical objects or symptoms; why only priests, with their bishops' permission, should perform the old solemn rite of exorcism; and how engaging in mind control and ghost hunting is flirting with evil.

Blai demonstrates that there is a supernatural enemy in this world who is trying to destroy us. Our defenses are the Precious Blood of Jesus, the sacraments of the Catholic Church, Holy Scripture, and Church Tradition.

Perfectly Crafted Book! Even for a Trained Exorcist (like me).

My previous “exorcism book” (on Audible) was such a complete waste of time that I gave up on it a little over halfway in. But this book started great, picked up even more steam along the way, and then rose to what felt like a triumphant crescendo that seemed to bring everything together. The cases here were unique and intense, allowing the author to accomplish the difficult task of writing a veritable text book that read like a gripping story. I’m not entirely sure but it felt (to me) as though the author/exorcist’s “perspective” might have been the key to making his work so outstanding. I loved it and I could NOT put it down practically from the get-go.

Incredible experiences

I really enjoyed hearing about all the different experiences Adam Blai the author has had in regards to helping those people afflicted by demonic activity.

Adam comes at these problems first from a scientific approach and when needed can then bring in spiritual warfare that will help these individuals.

The details and narration.

I did like that the story provided the reader with details but would've liked it to be longer.

Listen and heed warnings!

Listen and heed the warnings! At times, the author has a strong favor towards the Catholic Church and some of its doctrines. However, it is worth listening to. I do not recommend listening when you're too tired, it's late, or you're distracted. But overall, don’t listen to thoughts or voices that say it's not worth it.

Very helpful

What this author speaks of is true. I’ve seen it first hand. The occult is dangerous to not take seriously.

Overall nice short digestible read

Author strikes a balance between speaking about the spiritual, without being too theological, and speaking about the devil and demons without being too Hollywood about it. Speaks in his practical experience as an evaluator, and a participant in exorcisms, as well as a good overview of other issues Catholicism considers parts of the occult.
