very graphic. but powerful.

Candace is a survivor. Her faith is God is inspirational. Her drive to succeed and beat the odds is encouraging. Great book. Hard to listen to at times. Thanks for sharing.

Inspirational

Knowing Rev. Candance Breen personally, I was only privy to a small part of what she has revealed in this book. She is a strong devoted wife and mother that has overcome many obstacles in life. This book serves a tremendous inspiration to the many of us who have unfortunately dealt with abuse or abandonment. It shows that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Story is great

The story is good it was just hard for me to to stay focused or connect to it because it just didn’t sound right…maybe if it was a black woman I think I would’ve been been more in tune but I had to rewind often because I would lose focus…either way the story is definitely something to listen to

Hard to get through.

The reader is very monotone. Difficult to follow story. All over the place. Very confusing timeline.
