About this listen

Just a Girl is the shocking true story of Scarlett Jones, who was abused by her loved ones, groomed and trafficked by a gang, all the while fearing for her life.

I was a good girl who was just 'helping Daddy' in the hell that I called home.

Scarlett is just 8 years old when the horrific abuse at the hands of her father begins. It creates a world of shocking normality, one that she can only escape in her mind. Little Scarlett dreams of a time when she can be free... and then she meets Ed. Groomed and trafficked by her boyfriend, Scarlett realises she has been primed for abuse ever since she was a child. This is her harrowing story.

This book is hard to digest…. Very brutal and repetitive on same events like Jesus Christ. Terribly sad… but at some point I even said to my self ok enough is enough….

That was a lot to take in….

This story is heart wrenching. I will never understand how parents let this happen to their child. And why does it take so long for authority to step in?

Parents treating and ignoring a child horrible

This was an excellent book. Heart breaking but the true reality of many young women being trafficked today. Loved the one gift of revelation for those who teach children or seeing young ones act out… ask yourself why are they acting out instead of judging??? Excellent point

So intriguing

This took me to a world that is inconceivable. Survivors are stronger than what they think they are when facing the predator. This is a story that everyone needs to hear!

Scarlet Jones is extremely brave to share her horrific story. She is also very brave to continue her work of bringing awareness of pedophilia and trafficking sexual abuse.

Brave honesty
