About this listen

'

It's very easy to kill - so long as no one suspects you.' So says Miss Pinkerton when ex-policeman Luke Fitzwilliam meets her on a train. Luke doesn't take much notice of this little old lady's story about a serial killer on the loose in her village - until her predictions start to come true, when he feels compelled to check it out. Very soon the race is on to prevent any more murders...

Dramatised by Joy Wilkinson, and with a distinguished cast including Patrick Baladi, Lydia Leonard, Michael Cochrane and Marcia Warren, this is a gripping BBC Radio dramatisation of one of Agatha Christie's most ingenious detective stories.

5 star perfromances.

Excellent BBC radio production. Great sound effects and narration by the different actors. This is based on a stand alone mystery by Christie.

The Good Guy Won

A other excellent Christi mystery. I could not determine who was the killer. Christie kept the suspense through out the entire mystery. I would rate this one as one of my favorites.

The excellent performances and the great sound effects!

I loved the twists & turns in the story; this was different from Christi’s “locked room “ stories but an interesting twist!

4 and a half star

Typical first class Mystery by the 'Best' Mystery Writer of all time. I only gave it 4 and a half stars because I can't give all her works' 5 Stars!

It was a good mystery, I liked the conclusion, everything was summed up pretty nicely.

You'll never see this coming . . . .

I've read and listened to this story for years. It is such detailed writing, that you'll never see it coming at the end! Characters are exactly as expected in a small town, and some are too self-centered to recognize the harm their doing. Some incidents are a bit shorter in the audio version; howerver, it's a good mystery! Narrator is also very good, even though it's not Hugh Fraser. Quintessential Christie!

Don't waste your time

I read the reviews and got very excited but actually the book was petty cliche and not complex at al. Save your credit!
